Enjoy the desert from this beautiful 2 bedroom + den (with king bed) 2 bath home in the gated community of Mira Vista in Rancho Mirage.

The large rear yard with pool and spa overlooks the 13th and 14th fairways of the Gary Player golf course, with direct views of the San Jacinto mountains. The great room includes a pool table, wet bar, and flat screen TV with surround sound. The kitchen has a sit down bar, center island, granite counter tops throughout and separate dining table. Adjoining the kitchen is a separate laundry room with washer, dryer and wash basin.

The master suite features a king size bed, armoire with TV, walk in closet, and it overlooks the pool and golf course. The master bath includes his and her sinks, separate make up area, shower and large tub. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed and TV. The den includes a king size bed and writing desk. The great room and each bedroom have large ceiling fans.

The patio includes a power retractable awning that completely shades the patio when desired. Additional umbrellas are provided for additional shading around the pool. Relax on the outdoor patio chairs or chaises overlooking your own pool.

The shaded entry courtyard has a small patio and table for enjoying the morning sun. A gas Weber grill is located immediately off the kitchen for easy barbeques. The heated community pool is located just down the street for swimming laps, as is one of the community tennis courts.

The Gary Player golf course is one of two public golf courses in the Mission Hills area of Rancho Mirage. A full driving range, putting green, and practice areas are located on the course.

About The Owner

We have always loved the desert, and have spent many years boating, hiking and camping along the Colorado River. When we took up golf a few years ago, we decided it would be great to have a home in the desert.

The Owner purchased this house in 2008
Why The Owner chose Cathedral City

We chose Mira Vista because the homes are among the highest quality to be had in the Palm Springs area. We like space and privacy, and this home has a phenomenal view. A double fairway and lake separates our home from our neighbors across the way, which enhances the quiet and privacy.

What makes this house unique

Since our primary home is on the coast, we love the dry and warm climate for a get away. We love to play all of the different golf courses in the area. The community tennis court across the street is almost like our own private court. We also greatly enjoy the number and variety of excellent restaurants in the area.

Casino and entertainment at the Agua Caliente Casino is minutes away, El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert and Cabazon outlets are nearby, Palm Springs Tramway, the River shopping and dining destination is in Rancho Mirage, Costco, Sam's Club, and WalMart are minutes away

Our experience with this rental was a stunning disappointment. We rented this home for January,February and March 2012.We loved the home so much that when the owner approached us we agreed to rent the home again for Feb. and March 2013 on the same terms.Much to our dismay when we arrived back home the Owners reneged, leaving us without accomodation for 2013.During the currency of our stay we did everything and more to please the owners.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Unfortunately, circumstances occurred with our guests after approaching them about returning for 2013. As a result, we were not able to accommodate their request. No contract was signed and no deposit was received. Notice was given to our guests on April 4, 2012 which will allow them 10 months to secure a vacation rental for Feb/March 2013. We wish them all the best and thank them for their visit in 2012.
