Our family includes 2 adults, 2 children, and a dog that loves Tahoe. We love the outdoors, the fresh air, the snow, and the people of tahoe are awesome! We love hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing from the house. Downhill skiing or snowboarding are great at the local resorts - Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Kirkwood. Don't forget swimming in the lake in the summer and fall!
We built our dream home years ago and lived in South Lake Tahoe for 8 years. We moved to the Bay Area for family support and more job opportunities. If we could put wheels on this house and move it, we would. It is amazing!
At either end of our street, you can walk in wilderness and trails. But be careful, it can be easy to get lost out there. Star gazers will be in awe of how many they can see from our upper deck at night if you turn all the lights off. We also have amazing wildflowers in the area. Enjoy the gourmet kitchen with double oven, 6 burner stove top, large refrigerator, and huge island for preparation.
