Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-6)

Located in the highest non-incorporated town east of the Rockies. This unit has one of the most breathtaking views on the mountain. It is within a short walking (one third of a mile) distance from Ski Beech and only a 15 minute drive to Sugar Mountain’s Ski Resort. Watch the clouds fill the Valleys below from our rear balcony. Our annual Snowfall average compares with Buffalo, N.Y. Summertime highs rarely exceed 72 degrees. Fall colors are out of this world. The unit is surrounded by trees and an abundant wildlife population. We are located with ½ hours from the Blue Ridge Parkway which is considered one of the most scenic drives in the country. The quaint town of Blowing Rock is a 35 minute drive away. Banner Elk is a 15 minute drive and Boone 1/2 hours away. Enjoy the great shopping bargains at the Parkway Shoppes located in Blowing Rock. The unit is furnished with two queen sized beds and a sofa bed that sleeps two adults. Satellite TV with 120 channels is included.

We stayed at the condo over one ski weekend. Clean, good location, not slope side!. Condo is a little bit out dated, but good for the money. Comfortable for two only. I would stay again.

My husband, 3 1/2 year old son, and I stayed here in Jan 2012. It's a really cute place. Close to Ski Beech, the little town of Beech Mountain w/restaurants, etc; and the local sledding hill for the kids. The condo itself is cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities. Definitely recommend!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
