This fabulous East side adobe home was originally built in the 1920's and was completely restored and remodeled in 2007. Located less than one block from historic Canyon Road and short walking distance to the downtown Plaza area. Across the street from the Santa Fe River, this home is ideal for scenic walks and meditation. The spacious vacation rental features four bedrooms and three baths. The main level master and guest bedrooms have separate bathrooms. Sleeps nine. The kitchen and breakfast table area open into the dining room; a perfect set-up for entertaining and family gatherings. The comfortable living room has a large fireplace and generous seating space. The lower level offers privacy with a separate living area with two bedrooms and bath. The house is approximately 2,800 net square feet, very private and includes a completely enclosed large outdoor area with over-sized outdoor fireplace. Beautiful mature, manicured gardens with patio--ideal for entertaining. Dogs are allowed.

The house was very nice and the courtyard/garden was fantastic. We had 3 generations of family under one roof. The house was very well equipped with linens, towels, pillows and kitchen amenities. The outdoor fireplace was a great plus. We had little kids so we made a smores. Things to note would be that one of the King bedrooms is downstairs and shares a bath with the room that has the four beds in it. The only downside to this house was that it was noisy downstairs (could hear every footstep from the upstairs). If you are a heavy sleeper it wouldn't be an issue. We had a fantastic stay. It was great for all generations (including the kids). The location was outstanding we walked to Canyon Road everyday and even to the local coffee shop for an outstanding latte each morning.

grown family is very spread out. This beautiful home provided a wonderful retreat for sharing time together. When booking , I planned on providing a "home base" for my three grown children, thinking they would take off in different directions when everyone arrived. THe home and lovely garden provided such a warm and inviting setting, we found ourselves enjoying playing games, sitting by the fire in the evenings and sharing many meals in the garden. It was a perfect setting for us.

House and grounds are just beautiful. It was perfect for our family - Grandad, Grandma, 2 daughters and 2 sons in law , a toddler and an 8 month old. Very comfortable, great space, tvs in every room, sitting areas.<br/>Our only problem was regulating the AC,complicated. Also, the kitchen cabinets need a good cleaning, doors and drawer fronts were dirty. We will certain come again!

This home is in a great spot to explore Canyon Road and is not too far from the downtown area. The gated yard is a lovely retreat that can be enjoyed throughout the day. It is very roomy inside with 4 bedrooms, of which two are in the basement. My only advice would be to leave the closet door in the basement bedroom shut and you probably wont want to hang your clothes in there. There is a slight sewer smell that lingers in the closet when anyone is using the upstairs bathrooms but then it dissipates. Once door is shut you wont notice it anymore. It seems like it would be an easy fix and maybe the owners will get to it soon, because on every other level, the house is fantastic.

We were just thrilled to find ourselves in this lovely home! Perfectly situated off Canyon Road this house allows you to walk everywhere. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with a huge walled garden that is the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails or a great party. The A/C didn't work during our stay, but the evenings were cool enough that we just left the windows open. I would make sure the it was operational before I stayed during a warmer week.

We rented this house for a reunion of our college friends - we are in our mid 40s. There were six of us from all over the country - have traveled a lot, and we found the house to be perfect size - and it could have easily handled a few more people. The condition was perfect - clean, in order, with nice fresh linens and towels, and plenty of supplies. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and very nice - nothing tacky. Bathrooms also spacious and working well - clean, and with plenty of towels. The landscaping of the garden was much better than expected - beautifully done - seemed very recent, or at least well maintained. The location was perfect. We had debated whether to stay in a bigger house in the outskirts with a beautiful view, but found this to be really a great choice, never having been to Santa Fe. It was walking distance to everything. We went out to dinner every night, and walking every morning. We took a short drive to a great hike one afternoon and also hit the 10,000 Waves Spa. Both were great! Highly recommend. Also, this house is a stone's throw from Canyon Ave, which is the most quaint street in Santa Fe with art galleries and restaurants. We also had a fabulous dinner at Geronimos, again walking distance. All in all, we were loved the house and would highly recommend it. And we might come back. Kokopelli did a great job in the booking process and directions, nice materials - at the house and getting us there. My only complaint was with the underwhelming welcome at the Kokopelli office when picking up keys, and even less professional greeting when dropping off keys. You need to work on the personal customer service - it was very unprofessional and honestly, surprising, given how good the rest of the service had been - from Raman, during the booking process.
