A wonderful getaway!

We just spent a week over Christmas at this beautiful house in lovely La Jolla! What a treat. We were 5 adults and 1 toddler and believe it or not, it never felt like we got in each other's way. Ample room inside and out to lounge, eat, and get organized for adventures! We did fun outings daily either by foot or just a short drive away. A great location.

We were looking for something toddler-friendly and this fit the bill with lots of room for our little one to run around and even a highchair and toys.

The charming white and blue coastal theme was really nice and we definitely felt like we were away from the dreary wet-coast of Vancouver and urban Toronto alike.

The only thing missing was a coffee maker (a Keurig was available but the coffee snobs did protest), so we bought a stove top one and have added it to the collection of otherwise more than ample kitchen supplies.

Would highly recommend this place for young and old, families and couples alike. Loved it!

Great House and Location

Our family or four with two boys 1 and 4 really enjoyed our stay. One of best features not mentioned in the reviews was the house being gated and having off street parking . This provided peace of mind letting the boys out while.
The location was great. I took walks every morning with the little one to grab some coffee at the shops nearby and then to the beach. La Jolla Shore beach is great for kids with the easy waves and playground right there.
I highly recommend this to families. Brant even provided a crib and high chair for us. Its was nice renting from a family versus a big hotel chain or management company.

Wonderful La Jolla Shores Vacation Beach House

We are a family of four, and were lucky enough to stay at this home during the last week of July, 2012. The location could not be better, as the walk to the beach is only minutes away. We have a four year old, and a one year old, and the walk was never an issue. We were able to go back and forth to the beach, several times per day (naps, etc.), and we always felt that we were right around the corner from the house. The property is very private, as there is a large fence and electric gate that separates the front parking area from the street. This is great for those with kids, as it makes for a huge, safe play area, that connects with the grassy back yard. There were lots of beach toys available, and the bbq grill in the back yard was fantastic. The home is in excellent condition, and the owners are very professional. When we start looking for our summer vacation home next year, this house will be the first place that we start!

Comfortable home and great location in La Jolla!

La Jolla Shores - Comfort and Convenience

Our family of 5 stayed here for an extended weekend in April to attend a wedding at the Scripps Seaside Forum. The house was perfect for us. It was very clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, and light and airy. It has a huge kitchen window looking out to the backyard with a table for outdoor dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. It was great having off street parking.

The location is very convenient to walk to the beach, to the La Jolla Shores Beach and Tennis Club, and local shops and restaurants. It's also just a short drive from La Jolla Cove, and to shopping centers and UCSD.

The owner was easy to work with and contact by phone or email. We would love to stay here again when the occasion arises.
