This house was an absolute delight! Our 3 families had a fantastic time, whether stargazing in the night or going for a walk in the field. The kids didn't want to go back:-) (as did the adults). Our experience was awesome and we appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations! It was terrific to open the gifts Christmas morning in the tastefully decorated living room. Will come back.
My family rented both the main and guest houses to stay in for my wedding weekend. It was such a fun and relaxing time that we reminisce about now. Frannie is sweet, responsive and hospitable. The home was beautiful and furniture comfortable. The view of the fields is amazing and breathtaking to wake up to. I will never forget sitting on the back patio while working on my wedding vows with my dog lying on the tile next to me. I am so thankful that such a beautiful place is dog friendly as well. I highly recommend staying here and wish to visit again soon!
After a beautiful drive from LA...arriving at this ranch and it's main house was a treat! It exceeded all my expectations for a Thanksgiving gathering of my family! The crisp air, wide open spaces, the well-kept landscaping, the 4300 sq. ' of living space, tastefully decorated, relaxation friendly rooms and patios/courtyards provided everyone privacy and made the 4 night stay delightful! The gourmet kitchen and condiments was appreciated by the professional chef in our midst and we in turn enjoyed dinner for 10 at the long dining table overlooking the hills. Fireplaces, mulitple TVs, family games, and a pet friendly set-up were appreciated. The owner is delightful and her love of the "fruits of California country living" are evident......not to mention the locale and proximity to bicycling, hiking, wine tasting, casino, shopping, beaches cannot be beat! We will return as this spot in the country is perfect!
I would definitely recommend this VRBO property! I couldn't imagine anyone feeling less than absolutely delighted with the experience. The listing description and photography do not begin to tell the story. The solitude and privacy of the property, yet proximity to the coastline, the ocean, Solvang and its nearby Wine Trail, the city of Lompoc's Wine Ghetto, and all modes of shopping, made for a serene stay and easy access to amenities, which included a vast array of restaurants in any direction, groceries (if choosing to dine in), golf, and sightseeing. (Oh, yes, and if it is your cup of tea, there is an Indian casino within a short driving distance!) The house is well-equipped to more than meet one's needs AND has a comfortable, private layout for guests. (My family took advantage of the games available for our playing pleasure in the evening...fun!) The surrounding landscaping was beautiful. The patios were protected from the wind and the views were typical of the California coastal rolling hills...wonderful for morning to midnight viewing...with a night sky to die for! The communication between the owner and me was ideal. The personal tour upon our arrival was most appreciated and the keen notice to detail and the purpose for our booking did not go without notice. Our first grandchild also enjoyed a comfortable stay in a provided portable crib and benefitted from a special surprise upon our arrival. There are definite plans for future visits on the horizon. I would definitely recommend this VRBO property. Thanks for sharing the house, its belongings, and the scenic setting with us! Our family loved it! We shall return!
