This spacious holiday home is located on the first floor of a well-tended 3-storeyed apartment house which was built approx. 15 years ago. The apartment is southeast oriented and very sunny. The apartment house is situated at the end of the village road very close to the coast. From the living room there are doors which lead to the wide wrap-around balcony which allows you to take your meals and sunbaths in the fresh air. You have a very beautiful view of the close-by sea and the lighthouse. In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket, hairdresser, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy and a bike rental. Several times a day a shuttle bus takes you to the beach in Cala Santanyi. The coast is only a 5 minutes walk away and on a beautiful day and quiet sea conditions you can take a swim in the sea from the ledge and the existing ladders. These are public and can be used by tourists and locals.

Beaches nearby: Cala Santanyi: endless possibilities for walks along the arbitrarily formed cliff line. You will find e.g. a rocky formation in the form of an archway 'El Pontas', a well-known post card theme. Below in the protected bay there is a sandy beach with calm atmosphere. Cala Lombards: there are 4 beaches close-by with cristal clear water. Cala Mondrago: this is the largest sandy beach in the vicinity and is subject to nature conservation. It is a starting point for trips to the surrounding areas on indicated routes. You can still find important ethnological remains. Close to the natural reserve there are only two small hotels. S'amarador: this beach can be easily accessed from Cala Figuera by bike or by car. It is slightly inclinated and offers perfect conditions for families with children. You can rent deck chairs and sunshades and the pine trees offer enough shadow. Both beaches are connected by a footpath.

Santanyi: Santanyi is located in the southeast of Majorca and has maintained its original character through its location. There are small restaurants and street cafes, groceries, a German-speaking doctor and a pharmacy which offers year-round animation, fiestas, a large weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well as many interesting shops and points of interest. You will find all kinds of facilities.

Vall D'Or golf course: Vall D'Or is one of Majorcas best known golf course and features a newly renovated club house and a magnificent view of Cala D'Or as well as the harbour of Porto Colom, which is only a few minutes away by car. Golf classes are regularly offered for beginners and advanced players in small groups, in Spanish, German of English. Also worth a visit for 'non-golfers' for its ample installations.

Cala Figuera: this hideaway 'par excellence' has turned into an accessible transit harbour for navigators which is especially quiet because there are only a few moorings. The fisher harbour has been carefully embellished over the last few years. Cars are not permitted in the central harbour area. Everybody has to walk. In case you like eating fish you will get your money worth in the diverse restaurants. This along with the bars and terrace cafes provides the charm and attraction. There are only a few apartments and smaller, simple hotels which keeps the balance of tourists. Hardly any tour bus visits the harbour. You can take a swim in the sea at the indicated rock terraces or take the beach bus to Cala Santanyi or the glass boat to the two sandy beaches of Cala Mondrago and S'Amarador.

Notes

  • The basic rate applies for 2 people. Each additional person is charged an extra fee of €12 per night. Children are considered persons. Infants up to 5 years are free of charge. Final cleaning is charged €48. On arrival we ask for a cash security deposit of €150 which will be returned at the end of your stay on proper use of the apartment. Weekly cleaning and change of linen by the owner. Please bring your own beach towel.
  • Booking procedures: With a reservation, you receive confirmation, directions on how to get to the property and car rental information by email. After receiving these, please transfer 20% of the rental amount via Western Union at your post office to the owner of the house. The balance is to be paid in cash when you receive the keys. If possible you will be greeted by a German/English speaking person at an agreed spot at your time of arrival, guided to the property and given the house key and a tour of the property.
    This person is also authorized to receive the rental balance in lieu of the property owner. A receipt will be provided. We wish you to feel secure when booking online.

The holiday home Isabel is spacious and offers enough room for 6 people plus baby. There are 3 bedrooms of almost the same size. Two of them have single beds (90 x 200) and the third features a 140 x 200 bed and built-in closets for your clothes. One bedroom offers a small balcony to the patio. One full bathroom, one bathroom with shower and washing machine, a large, bright eat-in kitchen with dining corner and a large living room with dining area are all on the same level. There is plenty of room for your children to play. The equipment is functional and well suited for recreative holidays. You can access the wide wrap-around balcony from every room. There are electric heaters available. Bicycles and motorcycles can be kept in the in-house basement garage. The Majorcan owner takes personally care of the cleaning and the house service.
