The Gulf Gate Getaway House is an ideal location at the south end of Sarasota. Many cafes, bars and restaurants are very close by, not to mention the South Bridge to Siesta Key! Even Publix grocery store is only a 10 minute walk away. If you want to leave your car behind, ride one of the 4 bikes in the garage for the week. Ride to the beach, CB’s Marina, Captain Curt’s, Daiquiri Deck, Screaming Goat Tacos, Piccolos Italian Deli or grab a drink at the Classic Thirsty Turtle. It’s all here for you. This area of Gulf Gate is known for great ethnic restaurants from Japanese, Italian, Thai, Greek, German, etc.

The Gulf of Mexico waters are a perfect place to relax. Grab a beach towel, beach umbrella & chairs to head to Crescent Beach for a day of swimming in the Gulf, picking up sea shells, fishing, or building sand castles with the kiddos! You won’t regret your time in Sarasota at the Getaway House.

Upon arrival, walk into the light and bright living room area with a Natuzzi leather sofa & chair, Roku TV and small desk for your “remote working” needs.

The large back room of the home is lined with big glass windows and features a ping pong table, game table, and day-bed for relaxing and reading a great book. The twin day-bed can also be used for an extra sleeping space.

The kitchen has quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, and filtered water system. It’s also fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, etc…coffee pot, blender, toaster, and tea pot. There is an extra fridge in the garage for drinks and ice.

Off the kitchen is a large dining room table that seats 6. There is a large laundry room with washer and dryer as well as books, games, and cleaning supplies.

There are two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with a Tuft & Needle Mint Mattress, 6 drawer dresser, sitting chair and another dresser in the closet.

The bathroom off of the King room has a shower/tub combo and large vanity.

Bedroom 2 has two queen size beds, dresser, large closet, Roku TV and an ensuite bathroom with stand up shower.

The garage has 4 bikes, helmets, beach chairs and an umbrella for your use. The bikes are to be used at your own risk and a waiver must be signed before using them.

Enjoy corn hole in the private fenced backyard. There is also a gas grill and high top table / chairs with umbrella to shade you from the sun.

NO SMOKING/VAPING inside the home. No smoking near any OPEN doors or windows. An extra cleaning fee will be assessed if there's evidence of smoke inside the home or evidence of a dog w/o our knowledge.

You can bring one dog but ONLY with PRIOR Permission and fee. The yard is fenced but not dog proof. We are not responsible for dogs that escape. Outside of the fenced backyard your pet must be on a leash at all times. All pets must be approved so reach out to us first. This property allows 1 dog. For approved pets, there is an a nonrefundable pet fee of $189. Make sure to pick up after your dog.

We love our neighbors and do not want to disturb them. Please no parties or loud music after 8pm. There is plenty of places in Gulf Gate to go to for drinks and partying for your enjoyment!
