My wife and I spent five nights in this house and loved it. We travel for a living and stay in vacation homes and condos permanently, and this house had the most home-like feel we've experienced. My best advice for anyone looking to stay in a vacation rental is to find out if the owners utilize the home, too. When doing my due diligence on this property I found that it was originally bought as a second home, and only recently has become a vacation rental. This is extremely important and underrated because, if the owners live there, too, the property is almost guaranteed to be well-appointed and taken care of. This house is no exception!
While a trip to Fayetteville shouldn't consist of much time inside (unless you're inside one of the 50+ places to get a drink within walking distance), we were very fortunate to be in this house during a freezing cold snowstorm. Not only was it extremely comfortable - the bed makes any drive or flight well worth the comfort - but it was close enough to a grocery store, restaurants, bars, entertainment, and a state-of-the-art health club that you'll have access to. We were able to leave the car and do everything we wanted to do without risk of hazardous road conditions, and that was invaluable. While most visits won't include inclement weather, they likely will include trips to nearby Dickson St., and leaving the car at home is a must for those outings, too.
I would fully recommend this vacation rental if you can find a weekend it isn't already booked by a past guest. The location, comfort, and rental process make renting this house the easiest decision of your vacation!
