Located on a quiet country road with easy access to I-89. Home features two bedrooms with double beds and a third bedroom with a singe bed. One full, one half bath. The living room with floor to ceiling windows looks out on farmland, rolling hills and surrounding mountains. Beyond the living room is a deck with scenic views and table and chairs for outdoor dining and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped. The home also has a washer and drier. Linens and towels are provided. Well mannered dogs are welcome.
Hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking are all near by, as well as a golf course and two fine restaurants. Within an hour's drive of Burlington, Lake Champlain, Middlebury, Killington, Pico, Hanover, Dartmouth and many other Vermont attractions. Within 40 minutes are Woodstock, Quechee, Montpelier, Stowe and Waterbury--home of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream.
Relax!: Enjoy a slow paced meal in the kitchen as you watch the songbirds flock to the feeder or eat out on the deck. In the mornings the mist slowly lifts from the valleys. As afternoon approaches the clouds create patterns of light as they sail across the sky. On clear nights the stars are amazing. Be sure to catch the big dipper directly above the house.
Day Trips: With our easy access to I-89 we are ideally situated for day trips around Vermont. An abundance of pond and lakes with boat launching sites are near by for kayaking. Plan your own biking adventure or use the biking center in town. Hikes from the easy to the challenging are within an easy drive. Other day trips include Woodstock where you can tour the turn of the century Billings Farm or stroll along the distinctive shop lined streets. Take in the views as you cross the Green Mountains to Middlebury or head to North to Burlington to walk or bike along the shores of Lake Champlain. Stop along the way to indulge in ice cream at Ben and Jerry's headquarters in Waterbury.
