Our farmstead is located alone at an altitude of 620 m near the three borders of Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. Surrounded by forests, it features a panoramic view of the beautiful, hilly landscape between Lake Bolsena (5 km) and the village of Castelgiorgio (2.5 km). The 3 vacation apartments are located in a stone house across from the main building. They have been tastefully restored in the traditional local style, with cotton floors and ceilings. They offer a pleasant living climate no matter what the season. The quality-conscious furnishings are simple but stylish. You'll sleep very well here; along with our excellent beds, you'll enjoy complete quiet and darkness. Star-gazers will also get their money's worth. We've been involved with bees for 25 years, and we have many animals (sheep, pigs, and chickens) and pets, a large garden, olive trees etc. Guests can enjoy honey, organic vegetables, olive oil, wine, etc. Cooking and dining together also happens frequently.

We enter the vacation apartment via a large new patio (south-facing), and arrive in a lovely, bright living room / bedroom with three windows. This is a spacious daily living area which includes a sofa-bed for two people. There is a solid antique table with four chairs located across from the window. We pass the open kitchen into a small hallway with a closet, which leads to a pretty shower with a toilet and bidet. The separate bedroom has a double bed and a cot (if needed). It is notable for its splendid view of Umbria's hilly landscape. All rooms feature traditional cotta floors and chestnut-beamed ceilings, which helps to assure pleasantly cool room temperatures during the summer.

Our farm is situated away from roads, noise and so forth. It is still centrally located though, at an altitude of 620 m. Castelgiorgio (2.5 km), Bolsena (5 km), and Lake Bolsena's beaches (12 km) are all quickly reached. Orvieto, with its unique cathedral and the Pozzo di San Patrizio, is just 18 km away. Day trips to Siena (100km), Rome (100km), Todi (50km), Perugia or Assisi (100km), as well as the Mediterranean (1 hour) are easy. The A1 highway and the train station are both 20 minutes away, and both of Rome's airports are 90 minutes. There are hot springs in Viterbo (40km), San Casciano (35km) und Saturnia (50km).

Es gibt 3 Appartements, die alle wunderschönen Blick auf die Umgebung bieten. Durch die erhöhte Lage ist immer ein leichter frischer Wind vorhanden, der die Wärme im Sommer erträglich macht.
Der Garten mit Pool ist schön angelegt, jedes Appartement hat eine kleine Terasse im Grünen.
Die Athmosphäre ist sehr ruhig, erholsam und angenehm, da wenig Urlauber gleichzeitig auf dem Hof sind, weil ja nur 3 Appartements vorhanden sind, und die Vermieter, die direkt nebenan wohnen, Tips für die Freizeitgestaltung geben und einen wunderbar empfangen.
Wer Tiere mag, ist hier genau richtig, denn es gibt zahlreiche Hunde und Katzen.
Auch Familen und Kinder sowie der eigene Hund sind hier willkommen!
Wir sind jetzt schon das 6. Mal zu Gast und werden auch weiterhin wiederkommen.

Italienischer Traumurlaub

Hallo. Nun waren wir schon das zweite mal hier bei Reinhard. Es ist einfach Traumhaft. Die gesamte Anlage ist in einem sehr gutem Zustand, und Nachts ist es herrlich ruhig. Wir machten Ausflüge, der Bolsena See ist gleich um die Ecke. Rom nur eine Autostunde entfernt. Die Umgebung ist herrlich für Spaziergänge und Radtouren. Die Appartments sind typisch Italienisch eingerichtet, einfach zum wohlfühlen. Ein herrlicher Swimmingpool, und der Grillplatz lädt ein zum schlemmen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Note 1

Appartement modern und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Direkt in der Natur und zum Entspannen geeignet sind Landschaft und Pool Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter! Wer Hunde und Katzen liebt, kann den Kontakt suchen. Trotzdem sind Orvieto und das Dorf Castelgiorgio nicht weit zum Einkaufen. Etruskische Gräber, das unterirdische Orvieto als historische Stätten interessant und Kunstliebhaber finden Stätten in der Nähe.Wer mehr Leben möchte fährt 15 Minuten nach Bolsena zum Markt oder an die Badeplätze des Sees. Und ein Tagesausflug nach Rom ist problemlos zu schaffen.
Wer selbst kochen will, findet eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Aber auch verschiedene Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung laden zum ausprobieren ein.
Wir kommen immer wieder!
