Guestbook comments from the owner
Kathy and Jim,
Thanks again for putting me and my handlers up in your bed and breakfast.
It is peaceful and quiet so I can rest for my time on the Iditarod trail tomorrow.
Jim and Kathy Huston have lived in Willow for over 25 years. Jim was raised in Alaska since he was 7 years old, His family homestead in the Palmer area. Jim worked for 35 years for Alaska State Parks and Kathy for the school district till they retired.
We are both very active in the community as past presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and Willow Community Organization. We both volunteer in our church the Willow UMC.
Jim is working on building a 9 hole golf course with 3 holes in already. He is always busy working with his equipment or helping out in the community. He organizes the State Winter Ice Golf Tournament every March.
We have a great little dog named Moose- Moose who was the Trick Dog Champion at the Willow Winter Carnival. He loves to entertain for food and marshmallows. Our guest really like him.
We have a large vegetable garden that grows lots of veggies and weeds. Our flowers are beautiful.
Our house was our home before the bed and breakfast. We converted rooms when the children moved out. We added a private bath in every room and Jim, who is very creative has made each room unique with his imagination.
You will have comfortable rooms with a private bath, friendly hosts, very good breakfasts usually with moose sausage in the mornings.
Our apartment is located on the 3rd level with magnificent views of the mountains and private lake.
Play three holes of golf on our new golf course
