About Bobbie-Lynn Hutchins
This house was built in 1905 and has only been sold twice since then, both times sold to women. The first woman to purchase it was Ardra Tarbel in 1962. Miss Tarbell was the first year round employee of Acadia National Park. She worked directly under George Dorr. There is a flowering Quince in the yard that was given to Miss Tarbell, as a small shoot, by George Dorr. I bought the house from Miss Tarbell's niece who inherited the house when Miss Tarbell died. The house has many of the original features as can be seen in the pictures.
Bobbie-Lynn Hutchins purchased this house in 2006
