Perfect Country Getaway Close to Lazy E Arena and Oak Tree!

My extended family of 18 stayed in this home for a weekend. We had a wonderful experience. We brought a few air mattresses and had plenty of space for everyone to sleep. There is a large tv in the living room that we were able to watch the Olympics on while we played cards, ate, and just hung out. The home was stocked with everything that we needed (towels, kitchen supplies, etc.) Some of our group really enjoyed fishing in the 2 stocked ponds and caught several fish over the 2 days we were there. A couple of the boys took a ride around one of the ponds in one of the boats provided. We had a great evening sitting out in the back yard, looking over one of the ponds visiting while enjoying the sounds of nature. We felt like we were out in the middle of no where. We would have also enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit but conditions were too dry for that. The owner was very kind and helpful - her directions were perfect. We would definitely recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.

Our 7 adults and 5 toddlers all had a great time at this place. We stayed a full week and only left the property once. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The location is as described. The beds are great and the home clean. Warning... there is no bathtubs only showers and there is no dishwasher but everything else is in place for an extended stay. All of us caught plenty of fish and had a blast boating around the two lake/ponds. There is definetly wild life and that was fun to explore with the kids. We would, and already have, recommended this to our friends and, our family is likely to return.

My family and I just stayed here for a few days after Christmas. Everything was exactly as advertised. We had 11 adults and 6 children UNDER 6! We never felt crowded. The living space in the home was so open and perfect for little ones running around with plenty of room for adults. We had so much fun playing outside; going on hikes, night campfire, and boat races. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to do all our cooking at home and the grocery store was pretty easy to find in town. We couldn't believe how spacious and homey a 3 bed/2 bath felt with 17 people in it!

There's no dishwasher so we used all paper products except for cooking and serving. The property has a lot of red clay outside, so it's a factor inside.... stained some socks, but well worth it. It's all hard flooring so we did sweep a few times while we were there because tracking it in is unavoidable. Nothing to worry about though. It's part of the "country experience."

We needed a place to gather as a family and spend some uninterupted time together and get away. This was just the thing! We could not beat the price for a family get-away anywhere else. It's very well kept and a great space. We will probably stay here again. Next time, we'll be sure to have our fishing gear.
