Folly Field is conveniently located mid-island between Palmetta Dunes Resort and Port Royal Plantation. You and your family will enjoy making memories whether it be early morning walks to witness a beautiful sunrise, building impressive fortresses in the sand, spiking a volleyball, searching for the perfect shell, surfing the best waves on the island, bicycling right on the beach at low tide, and twice a day you can see why the beach is called “folly” at high tide. During high tide, the ocean crosses over a small section of beach which nourishes a beautiful salt marsh and numerous varieties of semi tropical birds. You can easily bicycle or walk to Folly Beach which is .7 miles from your vacation retreat. You can also venture within a mile either way on Hwy 278 to find great shopping at Shelter Cove or Pineland Station. Great golf is but 5 minutes away in Port Royal Plantation, or if you wantyou can walk to a great dinner at Carrabba’s and then play putt--putt at Adventure Cove.

This is a Beautiful Home as pictured. There is ample room for a large family and the decor of this Charleston Home is Tasteful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the early summer breezes. This was our 20th wedding anniversary, our first time on the Island and we feel in Love with it. We ordered our celebration meal from DYES Gullah Fixins and the food was awesome. We also visited Savannaha Georgia which is 45 minutes away.

This house is so much more than the pictures can convey. There are other houses located on this lagoon but this one has so much more character and detail. It is by far the gem of the area. My sister and our friends were in need of change of pace and this house was our haven. Morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the lagoon was a must start to everyday.We found it difficult to leave but when we did this house was so conveniently situated on the island that it made it easy. This was our first visit to Hilton Head but it won't be our last and we would not think of staying anywhere else.

Beautiful home with room for everyone.

Beautiful decorated home close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and golf courses. Plenty of bike paths to get your morning workout or just a pleasure ride. Our ladies Bridge club spent 3 days and 4 nights here where we enjoyed time in the heated pool, walking the beach, and riding the paths on our bikes, as well as playing a few hands of bridge. The bedrooms are large, and very nicly decorated with large, clean adjoining bath rooms. It was fascinating to watch the alligators, turtles, and many different kinds birds that live in the lagoon from the balconies . The listing description was very accurate and the pictures of the home are true to the real home. No unexpected disappointments. We all enjoyed our mini vacation and look forward to returning again in the furture.

My family and my fiance's (now husband!) family stayed in this house together the week before our wedding for one big, fun, family vacation...and this house couldn't have been any better! We had a house full and we were completely accomadated for space and beds for everyone to sleep on. The house was in a great location- away from the hustle and bustle but a very easy walk to the beach. None of my family members had ever been to Hilton Head so I was nervous making a choice without ever having been there- but this proved to be the best place our family could have possibly stayed for our visit! We had a wonderful week and a wonderful wedding on Islander's Beach...can't wait to make annual visits for anniversary and bring our children someday. This house couldn't have been more of a blessing!

We were very pleased with the spacious rooms and areas available for our large group to be able to spend time together. The bedrooms, each with a fantastic full bath, were a perfect match for our kids and the adults. The six burner stove and available barbecue grill made meal preparation for our large group fairly simple. Additionally, we were very satisfied with the walk to the beach and the beautiful surrounding areas of Folly Field and the Island as a whole.

Things could not have gone much smoother for us on the trip. Thanks for everything.
