Pride of ownership in our cottages for over 30 years! Bruce with his green thumb has planted many perennials over the years as well as undertaken many renovations and upgrades to our cottages. This is a lovely property located on one of the most pristine lakes in the central Adirondacks - Indian Lake Let us advise you of some of our favorite hikes - restaurants - most wonderful experiences in this last, great wilderness in New York State
Rose & Bruce Burke purchased this cottage in 1979
This is a wonderful spot for your family to live in a very remote, unspoiled wilderness area - the hamlet of Sabael in the Township of Indian Lake. Walk to the general store for ice cream and sundries - take a hike! Bring your bathing suits and jump in the lake! Bring your fishing gear and try to catch the elusive Lake Trout or bass off the dock. Paddle across the lake to Norman's Cove and climb Baldface Mountain - one of the best boat access only hikes in the Adirondacks! You may even spot a Moose or 2 - perhaps a bear or 2 - perhaps deer or other wildlife! And don't forget the hummingbirds who love to summer here too!
A taste of living in the wilderness, with all the amenities of home including cable TV.
(Cell phone service in town)
