A BREATH OF FRESH AIR-OCEAN VIEWS, SHORT WALK TO BEACH

When our daughter entered Oregon State University, we had our first opportunity to visit the Oregon Coast. From our first visit, we knew that we had to make this our "home away from home." When we purchased A Breath of Fresh Air, we thought we had only bought a piece of property, but we had also invested in a community.

One of our first weekends in our new home was 4th of July weekend. People come to Yachats from all over for the La-De-Dah parade and the fireworks. That night we carried our towels down to the beach pleasantly surprised to see people around campfires, roasting marshmallows and singing along with their guitars. We nestled into our towels, enjoying the sounds of a summer beach party and waited for the show to begin. We had no expectations, so again, we were pleasantly surprised by the fireworks, one of the best shows we've ever seen! Whether it was the show, the atmosphere, or the fact that we didn't have to fight parking-lot-traffic to go home, we knew that we had found our "home away from home."
