Florimar is a two-story villa that consists of two complete units. This listing is for the downstairs apartment. To view the upstairs apartment see VRBO listing no. 5531.

This villa is literally on the beach. It provides the perfect setting to relax, dine, read, or watch the stars at night. The apartment has its private decks and gardens with a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea and mountains.

The beach is a semi private beach on serene Caribbean waters protected by a small coral reef. It is wonderful place for walking, exploring, snorkeling, etc. There are many decks facing views of the mountains, the sea, and the stars (have you ever seen a moon set) ... provides a feeling that cannot be described. It is a very romantic and tranquil place. The spaces have been designed and utilized for maximum enjoyment of the surrounding nature. There is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

The downstairs apartment has two large bedrooms with queen-size beds and two baths. All bedrooms overlook the ocean and have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The bedrooms have 8ft tall glass windows and full view sliders that open out to the deck that faces the ocean. The bathrooms floors and walls are made of travertine tiles with modern cabinets. The apartment features a spectacular open plan: kitchen, dining, and living area with full view windows and doors facing the ocean and a private beach front deck. The unit is furnished with tropical Caribbean style furniture. Both the kitchen and the living room have access to a private garden and to a spacious wooden deck and covered terrace with breathtaking ocean views. This is the perfect place to watch morning sunrises and evening sunsets. The covered terrace is furnished with an exterior wicker double lounge perfect for relaxing, reading …

The ocean view is incredible from almost any point in the villa. The surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing. The decks are perfect for a small get together with friends or just a quiet evening with that special someone. During the day listen to the waves and watch the grand pelicans flying and diving in the ocean. Take the connecting steps to the beach below or relax on the beach level deck while listening to the waves lapping at the shore in front of the villa. At night just relax, watch the stars and look for falling stars. The outdoor furniture will facilitate unforgettable moments.

The villa has easy access (5-15 minute driving) to malls, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, local and international restaurants and hotels. The villa offers a water reserve and solar water heaters.

It takes 2.0 to 2.5 hours from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan and 1/2 hr from Aguadilla (BQN) to Rincon. Puerto Rico is a US territory; traveling to and from, getting around, currency, etc. is no different then going to any other state.

Sorry, pets are NOT allowed. Also, smoking is not allowed indoors.

About The Owner

I am a consultant and have traveled all over the world since 1990. I have made sure that the beach villa has all the necessary details to make your vacation memorable.

I enjoy having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while walking on the beach watching the sunrise or the sunset and the stars at night. At this place you can really enjoy nature and can enjoy beautiful moments. Owning this house gives us the opportunity to spend hours at the beach doing nothing if we want...and I love to be able to have this alternative.

The Owner purchased this villa in 1998
What makes this villa unique

The first time I saw this house, I knew it was the place I wanted to spend my weekends, my life..... The incredible views of both the bay and the mountains sold us on this house. Seeing the sunrise and sunset from the balconies and decks is very special. Ah..there is no crowds! If you see 6 people within sight, it is a normal day. It is like having the beach all to yourself. We have recently remodeled our home and take great pride in keeping it in pristine condition for all of our guests.

Peaceful Place

We stayed for five great days. The villa has great outdoor decks and patio, the pelicans would put on a arial show everyday. Very close to town and yet just far enough to enjoy your own private beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all.

This was our 3rd visit to Florimar in the past 2 years and we will definitely stay again! The location is perfect, incredible water views and beautiful breezes. We have stayed upstairs and downstairs and found both to be beautifully furnished, well stocked, extremely clean, and comfortable with huge glass doors overlooking the water. Our last trip was with several friends so we booked both villas and were able to enjoy the spacious decks and gardens together but each couple had the privacy of a private bedroom and bath. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our trip...walking the beach, playing in the water, laughing, sunning, grilling steak and lobster on the deck (which the owner arranged to have purchased for us in advance), relaxing in the hammock, and dining out in town. We cannot wait to for the next trip to Rincon, we will definitely book with Teresa and stay at Florimar.

Perfect Stay

Florimar is absolutely beautiful and in very good condition. The house is very clean and fully stocked with towels, sheets, pillows, etc. We were so happy with all of our interactions with the owner and property manager; they were both extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Florimar. We had a fabulous time!

Romantic anniversary weekend...

My boyfriend and I spent a week in the downstairs unit and it was wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary and he coordinated with the property manager who set up the unit beautifully. There were rose petal leading to the bedroom with champagne, fruit, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for me. Stunning! What else can you dream of? I was so surprised.




What else can it tell you...We are both photographers and Rincon could not be anymore perfect. Our shots of the sunrises, sunsets, and moon reflecting on the water were breathtaking. We also drove towards the town to take pictures of the locals, surfing, the lighthouse, and old railroad routs. We went snorkeling "in the back yard" (literally) and wow! We took some nice underwater pictures of a lobster, an eel, an octopus, as well as other fish. Beautiful! We were just relaxing on the deck eating dinner and we watched the pelicans fly and dive for fish.



I personally enjoy just laying on the hammock feeling the ocean breeze while reading a book. It's very peaceful!



Thank you for my wonderful anniversary! We'll be back soon!

Excellent Seaside Property

We very much enjoyed our stay. The furnishings are complete and modern. The deck provides an excellent area to sit out for morning coffee and afternoon and evening relaxation. The ocean view is wonderful. There are some rocks in front of the building, but after walking a very short distance to the east, I was able to access the ocean for swimming. I swam every day and on only one day was there another person in the water. The water temperature was in the low 80's, ideal. Rincon is about a 10 minute drive north with stores to provide for your needs. The restaurant selection is huge. There's everything from bar-b-que stands to the Horned Dorset.
