The ocean view is incredible from almost any point in the villa. The surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing. The decks are perfect for a small get together with friends or just a quiet evening with that special someone. During the day listen to the waves and watch the grand pelicans flying and diving in the ocean. Take the connecting steps to the beach below or relax on the beach level deck while listening to the waves lapping at the shore in front of the villa. At night just relax, watch the stars and look for falling stars. The outdoor furniture will facilitate unforgettable moments.
The villa has easy access (5-15 minute driving) to malls, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, local and international restaurants and hotels. The villa offers a water reserve and solar water heaters.
It takes 2.0 to 2.5 hours from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan and 1/2 hr from Aguadilla (BQN) to Rincon. Puerto Rico is a US territory; traveling to and from, getting around, currency, etc. is no different then going to any other state.
Sorry, pets are NOT allowed. Also, smoking is not allowed indoors.

I am a consultant and have traveled all over the world since 1990. I have made sure that the beach villa has all the necessary details to make your vacation memorable.
I enjoy having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while walking on the beach watching the sunrise or the sunset and the stars at night. At this place you can really enjoy nature and can enjoy beautiful moments. Owning this house gives us the opportunity to spend hours at the beach doing nothing if we want...and I love to be able to have this alternative.
The Owner purchased this villa in 1998
The first time I saw this house, I knew it was the place I wanted to spend my weekends, my life..... The incredible views of both the bay and the mountains sold us on this house. Seeing the sunrise and sunset from the balconies and decks is very special. Ah..there is no crowds! If you see 6 people within sight, it is a normal day. It is like having the beach all to yourself. We have recently remodeled our home and take great pride in keeping it in pristine condition for all of our guests.
My husband, our 3 year old son, my sister and her boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in March. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group of 5. The huge outdoor deck offered so many options for lounging, eating, grilling and even napping...all with an absolutely stunning view of the water. The house had everything we needed and was in perfect condition when we arrived. Theresa's directions were spot on and it was the one place in PR that we actually were able to locate on our first try! The town is not much to speak of, but the beaches were spectacular and not crowded at all. We tried out Domes beach (to watch the surfers) and Steps beach for awesome snorkeling. And my husband tried surf lessons before deciding the sport was not for him! But honestly, we preferred the ease and privacy of the beach and water at the base of the property. Our son loved watching the crabs and other sea creatures and my sister loved the snorkeling. One word of warning, the street that the house is on is very narrow and the rental car place gave us a mini-van which made it very difficult to maneuver. Technically, you should be able to drive in a loop and not have to turn around, but we often found the street blocked and we had to execute a 10 point turn with the mini-van. so make sure to get a small car! Also, i'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 only because i made several e-mail inquiries regarding parking and a small cot-type bed for my son that went unanswered until I called Theresa (at which point she was very nice). Not sure why the e-mails went unanswered, but would recommend getting all your questioned answered in advance.
We just returned from a family vacation at this property. We were very pleased with the facility and the location. It was a little out of town from the main action in Rincon which turned out to be a plus. The ocean is literally in your back yard with snorkeling available at low tide. The house is VERY secure with alarm and many keys.
Just down the beach you can walk to the Rincon Beach resort.
The owner was great to work with and very accessible by phone or email. SHe was very responsive and helpful with suggestions.
I would recommend this as a destination to anyone. We had a great time and hope to return.
My husband, mother & I spent 4 nights here and I wish it were a couple of weeks! The place is very nice and so relaxing. We snorkeled right out back and saw two lion fish, a baby manatee and lots of other fish! We would not hesitate to rent again from Teresa. Very good experience. Thank you so much Teresa!
My boyfriend and I recently stayed here & we will return! We stayed downstairs and found it to be beautifully furnished, well stocked, extremely clean, and comfortable with huge glass doors overlooking the water. You can hear the waves in every room. It was our first time to Puerto Rico & Teresa was very accommodating with anything we needed. It was very sad when we had to depart from the Villa. It got to feel like home after just a few days of being there! We felt very safe and comfortable our entire stay.
Not only was this my first trip to Puerto Rico it was also my first venture into renting a private home for my vacation thru VRBO. I have to say both experiences were 5 star. The search and filter abilities on VRBO made me feel my home selection would fit my wants and Teresa did the rest with her quick responses to my questions about her home and the contract process. Our desire for a quiet private home right on the beach and western shore of the island was met with with this home. We arrived after dark so we had no clue what the morning sunrise would bring. We were not disappointed. The back of this home on the ocean faces mostly south so you get the most beautiful of sunrises and sunsets without having direct sunlight coming into your bedroom windows. This also makes having dinner on the covered patio a wonderful evening event. This is not a shopping location and we did not want that anyway. Edwards Grocery store in Rincon had everything you would need and local fruit venders made fresh pinnaple and other items part of our daily delight. We made one trip into the mountains to Maracao looking for a coffee plantation to visit. It was a real adventure into the local culture for eating lunch. You need to speak Spanish or find an interpreter to really know what is being said but it is great fun to just wing it or have a language phone app. It was a fun drive and though we did not find a coffee plantation to tour we did climb to the top of Terre de Piedra, a stone tower on Rt 120 going south out of town. A world class view! We had just too much joy and rest coming from daily walks on what seemed like our own private beach looking for sea glass to want to get in the car and drive. We enjoyed lunch at the Lucky 13 across the street from Edwards. They had wonderful tacos. The views around the lighthouse were very pretty. We spent our final evening dining at La Copa Llena at Blackeagle at the suggestion of Teresa. We were not disappointed. Our table was 20 feet from the water with a beautiful sunset and excellent food. The local residents are very friendly as our wives walked around downtown Rincon and visited with men playing dominoes etc. Driving can be a bit unerving so give more than take will keep your rental car dent free. Avoid departing from San Juan at rush hour at all cost but the trip back was a breeze on Saturday morning. Look for the tiny driveway down the ramp at Km 4.0 especially if you arrive after dark.
We have had a previous experience with a VRBO that wasn't great. But, this was great. Teresa has everything that you could ask for. Okay no boat but everything else for a great vacation. It was hard to leave this place for day trips. A cup of coffee early, a bloody mary later, beer for lunch and a cocktail. Grill worked wonders. But stop at LuLu's at the bottom of the hill for his chicken. We saw Marlin tail walking over coffee. I was snorkeling and the bottom was covered with bait. Then I ran into a tarpon. I ended up hooking 5 and raised that many more. So much coral that I doubt you could get one to the beach but they were there and right under the porch. Nice swimming a short walk down the beach. Waves lapping all day and night. No safety issues. Take the car to the northern light house but don't miss the southern light house trip but get there early. Stop at Joydua on the way back for lunch. Two weeks may be enough. Thank you.
