We open our home to you and your family. Please enjoy our fully-furnished condo and all its high-end amenities. With its clean lines and modern feel we hope you will be able to call this a home away from home and enjoy yourself in beautiful Portland and all it has to offer. For the more adventure-inclined, there’s Forest Park - a 31 mile stretch of greenery where you can literally hike all day, bike paths and even the world’s largest indoor rock climbing gym just across the river.

Hopefully you will find your stay at The Sophia more accommodating than an expensive 500 sq. ft. hotel room in a congested part of the city. Truly at the heart of The Pearl, no trip is complete without a visit to Powell’s largest bookstore, dine at Andina Peruivan restaurant and stroll by the dozens of art galleries - all within a 5 minute walk. Rated by Portland Magazine as one of the “best areas” in town, it is no surprise so many advertise they are near or within walking distance to The Pearl.

About Andy Vu

My name is Andy and I am a Portland native, born and raised in the good ol' Northwest. I have been incredibly fortunate to enjoy everything Portland has to offer and love the outdoors. My passions include surfing - yes, the Oregon coast can be cold, but well worth it - and rock climbing, where Portland is home to the two world's largest indoor bouldering gyms.

My life requires (or allows) me to travel a lot so when I'm not in town and I don't have family or friends staying at my homes, I like to give other folks the opportunity to explore and enjoy what Portland has to offer.

I graduated from Oregon State University and received my MBA from the Acton School of Business in Austin, TX.

I purchased this home to be centrally located and near the 'hot spots' of Portland, including the best restaurants, parks in and shops in the city.

After searching through dozens of condo units, I decided on this one because of the prime walking and public transportation location, wall-to-wall windows and the amazing quality of the building, which is LEED Platinum certified.

What makes this condo unique

Five words - 'Heart of the Pearl District.' Arguably one of the best areas to walk, eat, site-see, people watch and attend events. You have First Thursdays, dozens of art galleries and locally owned restaurants and boutiques.

This location is perfect for the out of town-ers because it is centrally located for dining and shopping. The house has more amenities than one would find in a hip hotel. Andy was super accommodating and very easy to work with. Cheers!

Great high end rental in a nice area

Very nice place to stay, everything was very high end. Pool table was a great bonus. Close walking distance to various Trimet stops and other landmarks like Powell's book store. Also surrounded by nice restaurants and cafes, Nuvrei is a breakfast must!
