We travel extensively, so understand what true hospitality is. We go out of our way to ensure a warm welcome for all of our guests.
Jim Hock purchased this apartment in 2009
Charlotte has been my home for 40+ years, and we love sharing our city with other travelers. We feel that location is paramount in any decision to vacation, and ours is one of the most centrally located neighborhoods in the entire city. We purchased this home and lived here a number of years before buying a single family home nearby.
I'm a native Charlottean, and can help ensure you make the most of your visit, from providing restaurant suggestions, to recommending art openings, to securing complimentary passes for area attractions. We provide an 'Insider's Guide' to our Dilworth neighborhood, so you can live like a local.
We can provide babysitter references, doctor referrals, etc. There's even a veterinarian 2 blocks away.
The apartment was wonderful and made our stay very comfortable while my daughter attended dance camp over the summer.
Considering we made the apartment our home for most of the summer, we fell in love with the area, I loved Freedom Park and the ability to walk in the neighborhood! The local shops were very nice, too, and accessible. If we return to Charlotte for programs then we will without a doubt stay in the same apartment.
By the way, we loved Amelies French Bakery in Uptown, and the small Italian restaurant, Fiamma, a few blocks away. Posh, within 10 mins walking distance is a great consignment shop for ladies with good prices on gently worn designer clothing and accessories!
Thanks again for your hospitality!
