True ocean front condo on the ground floor with a spectacular view. This newly refurbished condo is spacious and designed with the traditional island tropics in mind.

Located on Alii Drive, our true oceanfront condominium looks out to the sea where you can watch passing whales and dolphins from the lanai.

Unit 3119 is a corner unit right on the ocean with an extra window instead of an extra neighbor. This unit has all new furnishings, and a new stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. Both bathrooms have been totally renovated with granite counter tops. The Sea Village has wireless internet available to all users at no additional charge. The master bedroom has a queen size bed while the second bedroom has two twin size beds. There is a convenient sofa bed in the living room.

The complex has an oceanfront swimming pool and jacuzzi hot tub with lounge chairs and umbrella tables. There are also spacious rolling lawns with picnic tables and gas BBQ. There is a tennis court for everyone's use. The Green Flash Coffee shop is right out front of the complex serving world famous Kona coffee, breakfast, and ice cream!

From this spectacular condo you can walk to beaches and the historic Kailua-Kona village town about 1 mile away with it's great luau's, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants and pubs, dancing, water sports, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing. Plus there are many fabulous golf courses in and around the Kona area.

Aloha,

Both Renee and I are native Californians currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Renee owns a senior care business and I'm a real estate broker. We have 2 grown children (a son and daughter) and are reaching a point in our lives where we hope to have more time to travel.

Most of our last vacations have been spent in VRBO lodgings with great results. We are both looking forward to sharing our Sea Village Paradise with you.

We stayed at the Sea Village on our honeymoon over 30 years ago. We love Kona, and have been coming back as often as we can. The beauty, charm and diversity of the Big Island never gets old. We were on vacation here in January and we fell in love with this condo when we saw it! The opportunity was just too good to pass up.

The complex is great, the location is super and the unit is really wonderful. The fact that it already was in VRBO (with great reviews) was just icing on the cake.

Great location

The overall experience was great. The location was great - easy walking distance into town, with a nice wide bike and pedestrian path. The condo was well equipped. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, mats and towels.The lanai was great for breakfast and happy hour and evenings. We usually saw canoes, boats and swimmers in the morning and evening. Saw fish and dolphins a few mornings. The owners were easy to work with and answered any phone calls promptly. We found Kona to be much busier than last time we visited, but would recommend for anyone who likes night life as it is so close. There are also so many things to see and do on Hawaii, many beaches for all activities and of course the Volcano.

Wonderful!

In addition to the review my girlfriend already posted below about our stay beginning Sept. 11, 2014, I wanted to add a few things that I found really fun/useful:

- There's lots of very close parking and the unit is on the ground floor. Some of the condos in this development are on the third story, which would've bummed me out. With the parking and the ground floor, unloading luggage or throwing beach stuff in the car was super convenient.

- There's an in-unit washer and dryer! Washing and folding all our laundry before we went home was a super awesome vacation hack. Plus, it's nice to dry beach towels or wash your swimwear if you feel gross.

- The shower in the master bathroom is really cool.

- The owners graciously provide fun beach stuff to borrow, like snorkeling gear, a boogie board, and some big beach towels.

- Even though it was unseasonably hot/humid in Hawaii when we went, there are multiple ceiling fans in this condo, and with the front door open, there's a nice wind tunnel effect that kept us cool and sane.

Overall this experience was awesome. It's one of the nicer experiences I've had with an apartment/condo rental. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect fit for our vacation!

We could not have asked for a better or more pleasant place to stay during our trip to Kona. The owners of the property were very helpful in guiding us as we arranged all the details of our visit, Ron is very friendly and accommodating! From the minute we arrived, we were thrilled by the beautiful view and the amenities that this condo had to offer. We took advantage of the outdoor patio on a daily basis, enjoying sunsets while sipping sundowners (there's even a blender if you feel inspired to make your own pina coladas). The pool and hot tub are also excellent, and offer a nice place to catch some rays (but seriously, put on some sunscreen, there's even some available in the unit!). The kitchen is well-outfitted, and we had no trouble preparing meals, which can add up to a big cost savings, as dining out in Hawaii tends to get pretty expensive. That being said, if you want a really great dinner, Jackie Rey's O'Hana Grill is only a 3 minute drive away and is one of the best meals you can get in Kona, in my opinion (try the ribs). One last perk that I absolutely LOVED about the condo was its easy access to the Green Flash Coffee Shop. It's one of the best-rated breakfasts in town, the coffee drinks are fantastic, and it's essentially located in the Sea Village parking lot, so you're never more than a 2 minute walk away from your next caffeine fix. You can't go wrong with this condo!

Great condo, Amazing view, Fabulous Pool

This condo was perfect for our stay. Three of us stayed here and it was great. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and bathroom within the room. The other bedroom has two twin beds. Another bathroom is located in the hallway outside of the bedrooms. Plenty of linens and bath towels. I did find that it only had two beach towels, but maybe I didn't search hard enough. The condo was in great shape and very clean upon arrival. The pictures are very accurate and the decor is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The TV and internet worked great. The washer/dryer came in clutch for us and laundry detergent was provided (which I didn't realize until I had bought the little pods at Target). The lanai is a great place to just hang out and a view from the lanai and living room is always a plus to wake up to. The location of this condo within Sea Village is perfect. There was always plenty of parking and the pool is just steps away. The pool was great. Plenty of chairs available, bathrooms located near the pool, umbrellas and tables, pool temperature was great. Hot tub was also a nice touch. The walk to town doesn't take more than 15 minutes, but you should be careful as part of the way in does not have a sidewalk. It is about .8 miles to the nearest part of "downtown". I ran every morning to the far end of downtown Kona which was about 1.5 miles. Great run and lots of people either running or walking in the morning. Plenty of restaurants to eat at and shops to look at. Just about 2.5 miles away is a Target which was great for groceries and anything else I forgot. Overall, great recommendation for this condo. I would highly consider it again upon my return to Kona!! The owners were very kind and left fantastic directions to the condo. They were a little slow to respond at times, but nothing I emailed was time sensitive so that wasn't really an issue.

In Kona, we did a Manta Ray Night Snorkel by SEA PARADISE which was amazing. I would highly recommend it! A little startling at first, but after you were used to the Mantarays swimming so close to you, it was just fine. I also went on a Zip Line tour by KOHALA ZIPLINE which I found to be great. I would recommend renting a car as the Island is very large and a lot of things to do are within driving distance. Snorkeling is a must. We rented from Bob's which is in the downtown area.

Overall, Awesome trip to Kona and a fabulous condo to make it that much better!
