I am a microbiologist and my wife Annie is in restaurant management. Our love of travel brought us to be involved with short term mission trips with Joni and Friends Wheels for the World. I love to flyfish and mountain bike ride and Annie is an equestrian.
Craig Garner purchased this condo in 1978
My parents purchased this condo in 1978, as one of the first timeshares in the state of Hawaii. We have been coming here with family gatherings since then.
We love the easy access to town. It's fun to sit under a palm tree on the sea wall and watch the people from the cruise ships shop. And we love all the adventure, from snorkeling with turtles, hiking in tropical jungles, walking on lava flows, viewing glowing lava, getting wet under breathtaking waterfalls.....this island has it all.
This was our second time staying at the Billfisher. The unit we stayed in (P3) was extremely clean and well maintained. We used the a/c so we payed $10 per day for that and there is a fee for taxes that is not included in your rental total. Our unit was above the pool, close to the BBQ's, and we had an ocean view-spectacular sunsets too. Condo's were built probably in the early 70's, but the maintenance/cleaning crew does an incredible job keeping this place looking immaculate. We will definitely stay here again. Owner was super easy to deal with too. If you're looking for a luxurious hotel with maid service and the works, this is the wrong place for you. They only clean the rooms once per week and replace towels twice per week, which was perfect for us. If you want a place to crash at night, cook your own meals, and enjoy a pool, then this will fit you. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, but you'll need your own spices, etc.
