If you want to feel the warmth and charm of the south then there is no place like Charleston South Carolina. Enjoy all the low country has to offer while staying in this beautiful four bedroom home. The house is 2,300 square feet and will sleep eight people comfortably. The master bedroom offers a sitting area, walk-in closet, and large bathroom with a garden tub. One bedroom has twin beds, and the remaining two have queen beds. There is also an open front porch with a view of the lake, a great place to have your morning coffee. Or if you prefer, there is a screened in back porch, great for napping after a long day of sightseeing. The house is ideally located just three miles from Folly Beach, five minutes from James Island Park and just ten minutes from beautiful downtown Charleston. The neighborhood is quiet and offers easy access to nearby shopping.

About The Owner

My story is very simple. I came to Charleston three years ago for the first time and was amazed by the beauty and charm of the area. I continued to visit every six months for three years. Eventually I decided I wanted to live in the Charleston area. I fell in love with this house and the location sealed the deal! I love spending time in downtown Folly Beach with its eclectic look and beautiful beaches. Downtown Charleston still amazes me and I never get tired of strolling down Meeting Street and admiring all the beautiful homes and gardens. It is truly the jewel of the south!

What makes this house unique

I love the open floor plan of the house, it provides great space when several people are staying in the house. The master bedroom is very large and can easily provide space for one or two air mattresses.In addition, there is also another large bedroom that can also hold a large air mattresses.Other than the house the area is great, and you will find yourself wanting to come back.

A Great Vacation

This home was an excellent place to call home while we were in Charleston. We went for Spring Break and it was so convenient to both downtown as well as the beach. It was a great because there was enough room for my family and yet everyone had their own space. Very comfortable house. the house is in great shape and quite cute. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your house for our vacation. It was a delightful place to call home.

EXCELLENT STAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Our stay was amazing. We contacted Jill at the last minute to rent her home. She was more then accommodating. Her home was absolutely breath taking. The master bedroom was unbelievable. It was the size of 3 bedrooms. The master bathroom was equally impressive from the jacuzzi tub to the shower to the counter space. The other three bedrooms were very spacious. The beds were great. Everything that you could need was provided in the house. We enjoyed the front porch with the big rocking chairs as well as the back screened in porch. There is not one single thing we could think of that would have made the house better. IT WAS PERFECT!!!!!!! We will definitely be returning. Anyone who rents this home will not be disappointed. Once again the owner, Jill, and her property manager, Kelly were outstanding.

Perfect Location, Beautiful House for our Family Vacation

This was my first time using VRBO and this house exceeded all expectations for a vacation rental. The house was immaculately clean with comfortable furniture and beds. Fans in every room were very welcome in the August heat. There was one even on the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy it, in spite of the warm, humid weather. The open floor plan worked very well for the 5 adults and 3 children who stayed there, with plenty of room for the kids to move around in. One of our favorite things, was the rocking chairs on the front porch, where we rocked kids to sleep everyday we were there. The owner, was a pleasure to work with, as we planned our trip to the Charleston area, giving us recommendations for places to visit and locations for grocery stores and restaurants. You can't go wrong staying at this VROB home.

My whole family are exceptionally pleased with our stay. The home is gorgeous and the neighborhood is quiet. Our daughter's wedding was on Folly Beach, and the large master bedroom provided the privacy and space for all the bridal preparations on the day of the wedding - and so close to Folly. The back screened-in porch was awesome. The beds are very comfortable. The water pressure is great. Wonderful ceiling fans in every room. Definitely a five-star accomodation. I will remember this stay for a lifetime!

My husband and I have stayed in the Charleston area a number of times, but never before on James Island. The house if spacious, very nicely furnished, well located to visit downtown Charleston, and close to Folly Beach. Also, a number of grocery stores (Harris Teeter was our favorite) and good restaurants are there. Jill, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful.
