"On a beautiful spring morning we were married at Living Waters. We booked the entire facility for the weekend to house our out-of-town friends and family. The atmosphere exudes peace and was perfectly aligned with our vision for the weekend. Neither one of us wanted to obsess over the “typical and expected” wedding day/weekend issues (for example, having every decoration look perfect to within an inch of its life). We wanted a neurotic-free zone, and Living Waters totally delivered—starting with Bethany and Travis. They are completely calm souls. Bethany answered all of our questions promptly. The arrangement of the buildings and grounds allowed for a very private and intimate weekend. We enjoyed the hammocks, native plants and appreciated that it was not an overly-manicured environment—it’s an honest, natural setting. Can you tell we despise over-production? We brought food from our favorite trailers in Austin and availed ourselves of the kitchens to store, heat, and serve the food. Everything we needed was there. And throughout the weekend, Bethany and Travis were there if we needed anything. Best of all, after our friends and family left, we were able to stay and enjoy a slow afternoon with the hummingbirds, butterflies, and leftover wedding cake. Living Waters is a remarkable venue that will be in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything."
Beautiful property. Interesting architecture and relaxing hill country / lake environment perfect for hosting a weekend retreat. Bethany and Travis were extremely helpful. We'll be back! Highly recommended.
The property is beautiful. Nature at your fingertips. It was extremely supportive of the type of retreat that I attended. I will return, and I have already recommended it to a number of people.
My husband and I rented this house for our anniversary. We had a great time! The house is very spacious and has really nice amenities. We actually saw three deer run across the property on Saturday night while we were out on the deck watching the sunset. Although we missed the community yoga Saturday morning, my husband and I both had Thai massages with Travis and they were so rejuvenating. I highly recommend it. We went to Krause Springs, which is only about 10 to 15 minutes away and it was breathtaking. On Bethany's recommendation, we stopped by Opie's BBQ first. It was so good that we stopped by there on Sunday morning and got food to go! We enjoyed a wine tasting at the fabulous Stone House Vineyard, which is literally a stone's throw from the property! They have marvelous wine. We also enjoyed steak and lamb at J5 steakhouse one night. It was wonderful that everything was such a short distance away and that we had our lovely, relaxing house to come back to! We can't wait to do it again!
I rented this house for my husband's 29th birthday - we took a long weekend and it was AMAZING. This house is so beautiful. Very nice amenities. There were 4 couples and my 8 month old son. We had a blast! We went to Krause Springs since the lake levels were low. The boys went fishing and the gals did the wine tasting! We sat on the deck and drank coffee in the mornings and watched the deer run through the fields. It was quite relaxing! I will defiantly rent again!
This place is truly amazing. Living Waters is one of the most majestic spots I've ever visited in the Texas Hill Country. Even with the lake down very low...it's a beautiful spot. My family of 8 and I spent a relaxing Mother's Day Weekend here. Love the location!!! We visited Krauss Springs (basically right around the corner) and spent the day swimming and exploring. Also drove into town (Bee Cave, I think) they have some have very unique shops...we had a blast! Bethany was the perfect hostess...she never intruded, but was always present to help when we had questions or requests. This trip was planned last minute, and from the moment we contacted her, she was on top of everything we needed. We hoped for a relaxing getaway, and got that plus so much more! We hated to leave, and are already planning our next trip back... THANKS BETHANY!
This is an amazing place. If you are looking to spend a relax weekend, close to nature, you definately would consider going to this place. The house is very close to the lake and has everything you need. The Thai massage is great, highly recommended.
