BEAUTIFUL VILLA IN EXOTIC TROPICAL PARADISE - GATED COMMUNITY

This may be one of the best places to be while visiting Montego Bay or Jamaica on a whole. Mango Walk is a lovely quiet gated community with friendly and informative security personnel. It sits above the city just about 8 minutes from the airport and about 10-15 minutes from the Hip-Strip (Mobay’s version of Bourbon Street) and any of the main beaches. At the bottom of the hill you connect onto the main road that is a straight shot to Ocho Rios or Negril about 1-2 hours drive in either direction. The grounds are well kept and you can tell everyone takes pride in living or vacating there, you will see friendly folks on their morning or evening strolls tempting you to join in but I am on vacation not in the plans this time. If you need a decent jog though there is a nice hill that is challenging and the scenery is so good you may not even notice the steep incline.

The beauty of this unit is that it’s near the entrance of the complex and a 2 minute walk to the pool. The place is immaculate and the design is perfect, the living room is spacious with a large kitchen off to the right and the adjoining dining area is open and is close to the rear glass door giving a nice view of downtown Mobay and the Caribbean Sea in the background. The bedrooms are upstairs and very roomy even with the queen size beds and excellent furniture. Each room has a super frigid A/C with individual remote controls. Downstairs does not have A/C but believe me the ceiling fan and cracking a window or opening the back porch door allows your to enjoy the cool Jamaican breeze you can only experience at this elevation.

The unit manager was always available when I called with questions and she was very punctually if she said she will meet you at a specific time, she is there right on time. I did not want to leave but I know I will be back and this will be my base every year. I was able to take day out trips to Negril, Ocho Rios, Falmouth and all the surrounding area attractions. If you need a home away from home, not being stuck in a resort and some peace and quiet this is the place.

The property was beautiful and immaculate. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to hang out without feeling crowded. The pool was only a minute walk away and a great place to sit out all day. It is a quiet area in a gated community, which provided the much needed relaxing vacation. We were also only 5 minutes from the beach, airport, and the strip.
