CHARMING STUDIO, NEWLY RENOVATED,IN A LISTED BUILDING,AC,ELEVATOR,VIEW

We actually stayed here in May of 2011, but the calendar won't let me go back that far. Anywho, my husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was just magical! I don't have a single complaint. You have everything you need to live for a week and this place is so near the typical tourist spots and the train.
The view from the window is romantic and it's great for listening to the vibrant city below. It's also nice to be in a secure building with the owner so nearby.

While we were there, I got tonsillitis and on top of that I was unaware that I had developed an allergy to dairy, so I was very sick. We ended up needing to cancel the remainder of our trip (which was to take us to Italy) and stay in Paris for a few more days until I got better. Phillipe was great enough to let us stay past check out at no additional cost so that I could rest while we waited for the check-in time at our next rental. Despite the illness, I had the time of my life and can't wait to go back to Paris and stay here again.

Like his other reviewers, I have only good things to say about our week in Philippe's flat. He was extremely kind and helpful, great at email communication, and generous as well. We loved the apartment, which had the world's best queen Murphy bed. We slept like the proverbial babies. He has a book of instructions for appliances, maps and history of the area, names and addresses of nearby food stores and boulangeries, etc. which was very helpful. The location was the best, as well, and the elevator was very welcome after a full day's sightseeing. The appliances worked well and the apartment was very comfortable though it was quite cold outside. It was great to be able to set the temperature lower at night and higher in the day. We hope to come back again some day to stay at Philippe's lovely apartment. We recommend it without reservation.

My husband and I stayed here in September. We found the apartment to suit our needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable. Some restaurant and bar noise does come in through the window at night when the windows were open, but it was no problem once we closed them. Many young people hang out around the fountain in the evening, but we felt safe getting in to the apt with the code. We found the location to be very convenient to the metro and RER with easy access to all the sights.We did not actually meet the owner until checkout, but a friend was there to meet us in his absence at check-in. He was very easy to communicate with by email between making reservations and our arrival. I would stay here again and will recommend this apt to anyone going to Paris.
