This adorable ranch style home called Dos Rios Retreat sets stream-side to Pioneer Creek with a fabulous deck for great family and friends to gather! The Master bedroom has a Queen bed with a new flat panel TV and it's own bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with it's own flat panel TV as well. The third bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a double bed with a flat panel TV also. In the living room is a sofa sleeper with a new mattress. The kitchen, dining and living room are all an open floor plan with a large flat panel TV above the wood burning fireplace. New appliances and newly updated decor make this home cozy, warm and a great place to be here in the mountains of Red River.

About The Owner

We love Red River and our retirement home. We cannot be there all the time, so we invite you to enjoy a stay at our newly remodeled home. Thanks for taking the time to look at all the amenities that we offer plus look at the discount prices.

Why The Owner chose Red River

Our family has been traveling to Red River since I was a child. There are so many reasons to travel to this relaxing mountainous area. Closest mountains with great tempertaures located near Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma. Red River has visitors from most states and several different countries each year because of the lovely climate, family friendly activities and great music venues, local shopping, hiking, fishing etc. Skiing and winter events and wonderful FREE events are schduled throughout the summer months. Events schduled regularly throughout the year.(contact Red River Chamber for dates of events)

Simply put, RED RIVER is my little piece of PARADISE.

What makes this house unique

The property and Red River is our second home. It is very relaxing with a wonderful deck and big front porch. The home is set up for relaxing on deck, tv for those who prefer inside activities, hiking all around, wildlife usually strolls by each day. We have designed the property as a home for us when we are there and home for guest. It is very pleasantly decorated with new and clean atmosphere.

The home is a very short walk to town, but is located in a quiet neighborhood. Come and see.

Red River is located approximately 40 minutes from Angel Fire and Taos Golf Courses.Call for reservations. Also, when in Red River there is local skiing and childcare available. Lessons for young children (contact ski area for details.) Skiing in Angel Fire and Taos approximately 40 minutes. In general, Red River has more family friendly activities and rates for accomadations are very reasonable plus you get the beauty of Red River Valley. During the summer there are over 400 FREE activities for children and adults sponsored by local community house. Art galleries in Red River and Taos show great southwestern art.

Red River has so much to offer with great music venues, a great selection of events held annually (see Red River Chamber for list of events), shopping, good restaurants and extremely friendly people. Escape in summer to cool tempertures, see the leaves change color during the fall, ski and enjoy the snow in winter through March. Special holiday celebrations.

Golf 30-45 minutes away. Activities at Community house mainly in summer include horseshoes, exercise/yoga, guided hikes. Activities not limited to that and community house. (About 375 FREE activities

are sponsored by community house each summer. Many children activities.

We had such a wonderful time and would definately choose the property again. It was very clean and well maintained. We were able to see pictures of the house before making our decision and thought it looked very cozy with plenty of room and we were certainly not disappointed. The house is adorable and very well decorated. It is close enough to town where you could walk there if you had to. Everything we could have possibly needed was at our disposal and we would not hesitate a minute to recommend to our friends and family.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

We were so relaxed at Dos Rios by the stream and with mountains right behind us. The deck was great to watch the wildlife come by each evening.
This is a great place to play and chill.

we loved being in red river with our family for a special skiing trip. We all skied and had a blast. Didn't want to leave.
The house was great. It had everything we could want, rooms were large and comfy. TV in every room was great. Very nice and updated with wonderful kitchen. Hope to go again.

we took our entire family, 5 children and 4 adults to Red River for our first time skiing. We had a blast. Snow was great and everyone had a wonderful time. It was so relaxing to come back to Dos Rios streamside getaway for relaxation, dinner and games. TVs in each room helped to entertain the kids. We had everything we needed and were extremely comfortable. We want to return again.
