Back on the Market! Our 2 bedroom 2 ½ bathroom downtown Austin apartment is within close walking distance to all major Austin attractions, such as ACL, SXSW, Lady Bird Lake, and the vibrant restaurant and art scene. This apartment is located on 6th Street but secluded in its own area so you won’t have the interference of foot and mobile traffic; we are just a quick 2 minute walk to Whole Foods! Our apartment was extensively remodeled in 2011 and features three HD cable TVs, and three decks surrounded by shady oak trees. Our spacious living area is perfect for entertaining or even just relaxing after a long day exploring Austin. Our living room seats 5 comfortably and comes complete with flat screen TV, DVD, speaker system, and cozy fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen is located just off the living area and is furnished with Bosch appliances, granite counter tops and cooking utensils. Our two luxury bedrooms are located upstairs and come with fine linens and a hypo-allergenic 100% silk king-sized duvet inner aim to ensure a restful sleep. Both bedrooms have HDTV and iPod docking systems. Our master bedroom has a king size bed, private balcony with 2 sun loungers and private bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds which can be pushed together depending on the sleeping arrangement. One of the best parts about our downtown apartment is that we have two private parking spaces, no hassle with paying for parking or fighting for a space, just pull in and park in one of our designated spots! Our highly walk-able location puts you in the heart of Austin's acclaimed outdoor activities and nightlife, yet comfortably distanced from the fray. Dine in or eat out; you are just one block from Wholefoods, Starbucks, Amy’s Ice Cream, Waterloo Records, 24 Diner, Z-Tejas and much more. Don’t miss an opportunity to explore Lady Bird Lake on one of the hike and bike trails. If the weather is permitting rent a stand-up paddle board or kayak to explore the lake from a different vantage point! There is always some festival or live music to enjoy in Austin. When you are in town check out the Austin Chronicle for a full calendar of events! Golf courses, nature trails, and (outlet) shopping centers are a short drive away. Great location, modern remodel

Stayed 2 days/nights with 2 adults/2 teenagers. Very nice modern amenities and furnishings. Older apt building but unit was very clean. Great new appliances. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. One block from Whole Foods, so easy to stock the fridge. Easy to day-trip to Schlitterbahn. Property management was very responsive to any inquiries.

Perfect Place !!!

Our stay was exceptional!!! The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything a family of four needed. It was very comfortable and felt just like home. The location was perfect for our 3 day stay in Austin. We walked to Z Tejas for dinner and afterwards walked to Waterloo Records and dessert at Amy's Ice cream. There was constant communication throughout our stay and only a phone call away when we needed help with the door code. Definitly a place to come back to.

Best downtown vacation rental!

Great experience in a brand new apartment: very tasteful and warn decoration, modern chic! Comfort everywhere: large bedrooms which each its bathroom and flat TV screen, comfortable beds and a lot of space in the living room and the kitchen. Everything was so clean and perfectly done - thanks a lot to my hosts for caring, I will definitely come back soon.

Great place with perfect location

This rental could not have been better. Flat screens in every bedroom and common area made everyone happy. While on 6th Street, its on the cool end of 6th. Highly desirable area without the bar scene at your door step. REI, WholeFoods, Amy's Ice Cream, Z Tejas Cafe etc... are just around the corner. 3 blocks from Town Lake so running, paddling boarding etc... are steps away. Owner is a joy to work with. We will definitely be back.

KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD!

You have heard the saying

Well there is nothing weird about this apartment.

An extremely pristine and well decorated condo with 2 bedrooms 3 baths, 2 patios and parking, furnished tastefully and completely, We stay quit comfortable, important because we stayed for 4 months and hopefully will be returning next January for a 5 month stay.

An added bonus was the area which includes everthing from Whole Food's headquarters store, the local YMCA, REI, Antroplogie, Chico's, Office Max, Starbucks and Lululemon as well as a group of local eating establishments headed by Z Tejas and the 24 Hour Diner. Walking distance (and we actually walked regulary) to the Sixth Street entertainment district and Downtown Austin. A short drive gets you to the Zilker Park area and walking and jogging trails as well as the Barton Springs area. If you have ever been referred to or wanted to be referred to as metrosexual you will love this area.

The best part of this was working with the owners who were a pleasure to work with professionally and socially quite interesting people with an international heritage and background having lived exyensively on 4 continents as well as 15 years in Austin.

The only way we won't return is if we find a unit to purchase in the neighborhood.

The apartment and the location are both ideal!
