House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Interior designers personal family vacation home. I wanted

a place for all my freinds and family to gather, enjoy each others company, have wonderful dinners together (dining table can seat 12...plus there is bench seating for another 7) and just have fun. Whether it is watching all the abundant wildlife (look for the grey fox that comes down the road at cocktail hour each night) or the deer and elk that come thru the yard... Wildlife abounds! You would think you are in the middle of nowhere but you are actually very close to a major highway, places to shop, restaurants, all the amenities we have all come to enjoy....just minutes away.

I have tried to make sure that everything one would want to be

comforable at the house is there. All new beds, linens, towels

etc. to enjoy.

Many people who come there (me included) just end up not

wanting to leave. It is a very unique nurturing environment

that you just have to experience to fully appreciate.

About The Owner

My background is interior design and I actually live in Sausalito, California. My family mostly now live in the Denver area including my relatives living next door so I wanted a place to be close to them and share holidays. I am also a horse owner and I recenlty moved my horse right across the street from the house.

You are welcome to feed him carrots anytime. He is truly a charming Irishman who will steal your heart away.

This is a mountain/foothills home gem! The views are spectacular the home is appointed with the finest you can expect especially in the kitchen. It's a great house to kick back in, and entertain as we did for family and friend guests for our daughter's wedding. If you want a room with a view close to Denver (40 minutes) and appreciate a place to getaway, this is likely your answer.

We have stayed in VRBO properties throughout the U.S., this will be the very best of kitchen's you will find anywhere. Thank you Nancy. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Relaxing Getaway

We had such a wonderful experience staying in Nancy's mountain home. The house was even better than we could hope for. The home had everything we needed and then lots more. The home reflects lots of personality and was expertly designed and decorated. We enjoyed the calm surrounding of nature and often saw deer nearby. The hiking path right in the backyard was so incredible. I loved waking up and heading up the trail and smelling the pine trees and getting to the ridge to see the views. The location is easy to find especially with the meticulous directions and guidance of Nancy, the home owner. Nancy helped answer all of our questions and truly cared that we had a great visit. We drove to Estes Park and spent the day hiking in the snow. We were able to see a concert at Red Rocks. It was something I will never forget. We also spent one day in downtown Denver. We have stayed in lots of rental places but this home and Nancy are the best of them all. We look forward to a return visit very soon. Nancy, if you ever come to IL, come visit us. We will show you around Chicago and repay the favor. Thanks for everything!!!

Family vacation

What a wonderful place! Please let me go back soon! The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and very functional. The view is superb and calming. For our family of 5 the highlights were the accessibility of walks right from the house, both paths into the woods and a very walkable network of roads in the neighbourhood. Lucky for us we had a snowstorm in April, after a heatwave, so saw the place in 2 seasons. It is on a school bus route so the roads get plowed early, but I can imagine that in the middle of winter a 4x4 and snow tyres is essential. Good grocery and liquour stores only 15 min drive away. Inside the house the best things were the roomy shower downstairs and the large open plan kitchen/dining/living room.

What a fantastic place!!!

My husband and I stayed in this spectacular home for 3 months and absolutely loved every minute of it! The setting is outstanding with an incredible mountain view off the deck and lots of hiking trails right out the back door. The wildlife is great to view too with deer that come off the mountain to feed right behind the house. Often times, I'm doing dishes just watching them. Speaking of dishes...If you like to cook or bake then you will be in heaven with this well appointed kitchen. Everything you need is there and it's all state of the art. The owner has used her designer background and made every room tastefully done. The house is remarkably spacious, yet cozy. The beds are very comfortable. Even the sheets are top notch! You can't go wrong with renting this home. It's worth every penny !! We can't wait to come back!!!

Christmas with the kids!

We traveled to Denver this past December with family to see our son and nephew. Nancy's home was beyond our expectation and truly was a gift itself. We had a wonderful kitchen to prepare meals, plenty of room for all to hang out and catch up. The furnishings were top notch...not a detail was left untouched. Nancy was more than accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She communicated with me on a regular basis to be certain our stay was enjoyable. The property is close to Denver, yet out from the hustle and bustle of city life...a perfect balance. We honestly did not want to leave! The home was very clean upon arrival and the pictures you see are a true reflection of the home's beauty. Conifer was a good place to go to the store, get gas, etc. Highway access was also very convenient. Nancy's personal touch was amazing. She really wants her guests to have an experience, not just a place to stay. Our time together in her home was exactly that...a wonderful experience with family. I would strongly recommend this home to others. We will definitely return. Thank you, Nancy, for a wonderful stay.
