The Sultan’s Nest was recently renovated by renowned Istanbul architect Selma An, received an award, and as a result was featured in the Turkish design magazine 'Evim'. It combines classic Ottoman elements with contemporary international style to create the perfect short or long-term accommodation. The apartment offers well lit spaces, is tastefully furnished and provides two full baths, one with a unique “personal Hamman”. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen (150 x 200 cm) bed and one with two single (90 x 190 cm) beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and an office for your work needs. The dining table seats eight people comfortably and the large, well appointed living area features a luxury sofa which opens to a double (120 x 200 cm) bed, suitable for extended use. The living area’s Ottoman nook features comfortable traditional floor cushions ideal for reading and relaxing.
The apartment is conveniently situated in Nisantasi, a fascinating neighborhood in the heart of Istanbul’s European side with wonderful restaurants, bakeries and cafes. You will enjoy shopping the brand name boutiques such as Chanel, Versace, Fendi, Armani, Louis Vuitton among many. The neighborhood also offers unparalleled antique and textile shops.
The Pangalti shopping area – a five minute walk from the apartment, offers takeaway meals, fresh organic vegetables, cheeses and other Turkish delicacies. Locals and foreigners alike enjoy shopping in our neighborhood.
The tourist sites of Sultanahmet are easy to reach via metro and tram or by taxi.

We were delighted to discover this area, and we know you’ll love it too.

Our family visited Istanbul in 2008 and fell in love with this vibrant city. I am a graduate of Princeton and I am currently a law student. Right after graduation from Princeton, I came to Istanbul to live and work for one year. I am currently forming a Tequila import business and travel often between the two continents. It is this traveling that helped me understand the needs and expectations of travelers, be they a family, a business person or a group of friends. By the way, the cute one in the picture is my sister.
The Sultan’s Nest is our home, and thus is renovated, decorated, and furnished to an extremely high standard.
Your days will be full of adventures in this wonderful city and at night the last thing you want is noise and disturbances. Our street is quiet, well lit and safe. Our building is accessible only by the residents of the four apartments, who are quiet and polite Turkish families.
Our location provides excellent access to:
• The historical sites of Sultanahmet – the funicular from Taksim connects with the tram which runs across the Galata Bridge, stopping at the spice market, Agha Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc.
• The nightlife of Taksim and the surrounding streets, where the music and fun lasts till dawn every night
• The cafes, bakeries, and restaurants of Pangalti
• The international chic of Nisantasi
