This is also the perfect place to just relax on the deck enjoying a lovely view of the Skagit River or roast marshmallows at the fire pit next to the river. The large sandy beach at the community park is within walking distance and a must see with beautiful vistas. Bring your camera and your fishing pole! Come in the winter to see the eagles or in the summer to explore the North Cascades!

The nearby Community beach is easy to walk to. The road in the community are flat and great for a jog in the morning. I love to sip my coffee from the deck and watch the river.

Historic Concrete WA is just 6 miles away and a walking map of this charming town is provided. Mt. Baker and Baker Lake as well as Lake Shannon are nearby as well. Many hiking opportunities nearby and hiking books are provided. The North Cascades National Park visitor's center is 33 miles away. When you visit, be sure to take the short boardwalk trail for an outstanding view. In the winter, eagle watching is very popular up river. There is a wildlife viewing area where Elk are seen regularly on Highway 20..
