Located in the newest, most fashionable area of Dallas (known as Uptown) at 3936 Travis St., with easy access to the Katy walking trail as well as shopping at the West Village, restaurants, theaters and other entertainment including the free trolley that goes Downtown and to the Dallas Musuem of Arts in the Arts district. Just minutes by car to Civic Center, Market Hall and SMU.
This property was a private residence until 2005. The owners still live in the area and the property is managed by their personal assistant. The owners travel frequently and primarily use the residence for their visiting guests when it is not rented.
The property location is ideal for enjoying the best that Dallas has to offer in terms of dining and entertainment. It is near the Arts District in downtown Dallas and within walking distance to the West Village. You can operate from this location without a car - using the free trolley from the West Village to go to the Arts District, dining and shopping. The Dallas Lite Rail is within walking distance and goes to the Convention Center and Market Hall.
My husband and I stayed at this wonderful Townhouse in A great area of Dallas for more than 2 months recently. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything was very comfortable, and well maintained. My husband particularly enjoyed the big TV in the living room, and the private upper deck to BBQ and relax. I was able to do all the cooking I so love, and appreciated the wonderful stereo system, and private entrance. The Master Bath was so well appointed, and the large shower head and great water pressure were a big plus. We travel all over the US and often rent Townhomes, Condo's or houses. The fact that we could walk - 2 blocks to great shopping, and a nice variety of restaurants was such a pleasure. There is even the quaint "Magnolia Theater" in the same area. The landlord was very helpful and accommodating, and gave me the inside on where to shop for all my cooking needs. We would stay again if the opportunity arises, and would highly recommend the property, the landlord and the neighborhood.
Katy Trail walking and biking path is just one block away. A free trolley goes from the West Village to downtown restaurants and Dallas Museum of Art in the Arts District. Cole Park is one block behind the townhome that contains tennis and basketball courts. Knox Henderson for more shopping, dining and antiques within walking distance.
