A Nice, Country Retreat consisting of 40+ Wooded Acres looking out on a 7 Acre Lake located 40 miles west of Indianapolis off Interstate 70 . Enjoy boating and great fishing-the lake is stocked with bass and blue gill. Take a walk on the hiking trails as they venture in the woods adjoining the Dogwood Springs Campground. Large, Fully Equipped kitchen with seating for 20 includes Industrial Oven/Range. Living room views the lake with comfortable seating and HD TV. A large deck off the kitchen and living room is equipped with barbecue and two picnic tables. Or use the fire pit barbecue area near the lake. The cabin room has the fireplace and an assortment of books for reading. The game room is in the lower level having a television, pool table, kitchenette and walk out patio.

Suitable for Family Reunions, Group Getaways, Weddings.

We are three miles north of the Lieber State Recreation Area and Cagles Mill Lake. We are in the heart of covered bridge country including the Park County Covered Bridge Festival. There is golfing at Clover Meadows golf course. DePauw University is 20 minutes north in the city of Greencastle. Greencastle is famous for it's award-winning restaurant 'Almost Home'. The Indianapolis Airport is 20 minutes east. The Indianapolis 500 Race is 45 minutes east. The Super Bowl 46 in Indianapolis is 35 minutes east. The Indianapolis Museum of Art is 30 minutes east. The Centre City Mall is 30 minutes east. The Indianapolis zoo and botanical gardens is 35 min. away.

What an amazing place!

My wife and friends and I stayed here for the weekend while racing and Putnam Park Raceway for the end of the race season. I was just 15 minutes from the track and was such an amazing place to stay. We used the campfire area both nights and were able to enjoy a peaceful country evening around the fire. A garage was available for us to store and work on our bikes when we weren't at the track. The kitchen was well laid out with everything labeled for our convenience! The kitchen dining room held us all comfortably with room to spare which most places can't say. Everything was so clean and comfortable and we can't wait to come back next season and stay again!

Great place for family!

We had a great family reunion at Dogwood Springs. The house is fully stocked with just about everything you need. Vaughn is a great host and was always available to answer any questions we had. The lake was fabulous and there are lots of trails to explore. The kids had a great time using the paddle boats and the fishing boat allowed my father-in-law to fish as much as he wanted. There is also a floating dock that many people can climb on to go fishing. Very relaxing getaway.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
