Turn onto Cedar Lane at Lake Murray, drive to the end of the gravel road to our home at 143 Clouds Point. The dead-end road leads to an ideal vacation spot for those looking for a quiet, relaxing lakeside home for a week. We also can do three night minimum rentals for those of you who want to fish over the weekends. Our home was built in 2009, is over 2,800 sq. ft and includes all the upgrades my builder husband could think to include.
We offer property damage insurance coverage on this property. This insurance covers broken lamps, windows and glass; damaged doors, walls and furniture; stained bedding or linens and much more and is mandatory to rent this house. There is also a check-out security deposit due depending on the number of people in your group, and should be paid in cash at check-in (usually around $300.00).
The main living level includes three bedrooms and two and half baths. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, hardwood floors, a gorgeous view of the water and the bathroom has huge soaking tub and separate custom built shower, two sinks, and large pantry closet. There is 32”TV and Blue-Ray DVD player, land-line phone, back door exit/entrance.
Both of the guest bedrooms have queen-sized beds with an adjoining bathroom. This bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub/shower combination. These two bedrooms have huge closets and easily sleep little ones on the carpeted floors. Both bedrooms have wall mounted 32”HD TV and Blu-Ray DVD player with access to our Netflix account .
Upstairs is 700' suite with bedroom, 32' HD TV, Blue Ray player that streams Netflix internet movies directly, bathroom, air hockey game and sitting room. This bedroom has queen sized bed along with trundle bed that will sleep two additional people. The office printer and fax is located upstairs in this space. Bring your laptop and we provide wireless internet service and free long-distance land line phone.
The foyer, dining room and great room have hardwood floors. The dining room seats 10 and the breakfast room, overlooking the lake, seats 6. Above brick fireplace is 55” TV, with surround sound system and all the boxes and buttons nearby. This TV has Blu-Ray player capable of streaming Netflix internet movies directly. A large gas fireplace anchors the beautiful oak mantel. A full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, several small appliances and all the extras. The full sized laundry room is off the kitchen.

Large deck out back door with table and chairs, umbrella and 3-person hot tub. Enjoy a couple of rocking chairs while over looking over 200’ of Lake Murray shoreline. Sit and watch the children swimming, fishing, or playing on the sandy beach by the water. A 3-swing set is fun for children and adults.
The deep water dock averages over 10’ deep. There is a fishing cleaning station at the dock and fresh water shower. A dock ladder provides for easy swimming/diving access.
We have several sizes of life-jackets and swim noodles. The picnic pavilion and sunning deck houses over 10 chairs, a table, counter tops all around the perimeter, and gas outdoor fireplace in the center. The outdoor kitchen includes all stainless steel gas grill, sink, fish fryer, and refrigerator and has granite counter tops.
You can build your own fire in our large new fire pit (one complimentary pkg of firewood included), and we can provide additional bundles for a small fee. And, an additional bathhouse/storage building with half bath is in the back yard.
Camp Barstow public boat ramp is 5 minutes away and there is ample parking at our house for your boat trailer and cars. The Hwy. 378/391 traffic circle is 2 miles from the house and has Dollar General, gas and convenience store, grill/hamburger restaurant and liquor store. The nearest Wal-Mart, fast foods and several restaurants will be in Leesville-Batesburg about 13 miles away.
Everything about this home is first class from the 55' wide screen TV to the outdoor kitchen and picnic pavilion at the water’s edge. We have set this home up for our retirement and thus it is equipped and furnished much nicer than a typical lake rental. We are very careful to select guests that appreciate the extras and take care of them. Our goal is that every guest who walks in the home is impressed and more than satisfied when they leave. We will meet you upon arrival and give instruction on all the remote controls in the house (and there are quite a few).
The fishing at Lake Murray is spectacular. Several guides are available for bass, striper, crappie and perch fishing. They can pick you up at the dock if you like. Some will even clean your catch. Lake Murray is calmer than other lakes in the area, great for watersports. Wakeboarding is becoming a popular pastime in the area along with skiing and jet ski riding.
We are located 30 minutes from Lexington, 40 minutes from Columbia, two hours from the Augusta National to Charleston and the beautiful South Carolina coast.
