About The McKay Family
The 2 Cottages are run by 3rd generation McKay's who have been vacationing at Hadley Point since they were kids. The McKay's have decided recently that they want to share this wonderful place with others, so please take a look at the pictures and all the attractions that Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have to offer.
Why The McKay Family chose Acadia National Park
This property has been in the family since our grandfather first built 2 small summer buildings (called camps) for his children to enjoy during the summer. Recently renovated, the buildings have up-to-date amentities and accomodations. The location is close enough to Bar Harbor, but far enough away to be a semi-secluded retreat. You will see many fauna and flora and daily visits by lobster boats in front of the property.
What makes this cottage unique
Quiet and on the water. A renters very own beach where you can watch the lobster boats, skip stones, or just sit and listen to the water as it laps against the shore. High and low tides give you an ever changing view as you look out the windows of either deck. The cove is protected enough that you don't have to worry about large waves or storms.
