Welcome to 111 Hibiscus Drive, an affordable mid island, ranch style, pet friendly home. It has three bedrooms, two full baths and can accommodate 8 guests.
Though an open concept layout, the living and dining area is a cozy retreat for watching a movie, making use of the antique desk or lounging on the futon. The dining is handy to accept a home cooked meal from the fully equipped kitchen. Start your morning with a cup of coffee at the high top kitchen table.
The comfy master bedroom has a queen bed and a TV for late night movies. An ensuite bath provides privacy. A washer and dryer are located in a separate area off the bathroom. The first guest room has a queen bed. The second quest room has two twin beds and a TV. There is a full bath located in the hallway. You and you guests will enjoy a good night’s sleep in this quiet residential area.
Residential area: Seven miles of sugar sand beach are just across from this home and only a 1 minute walk away. You won’t want to miss our fabulous sunsets. There is nothing better than to end the evening with a moonlit walk while taking in the sea air and Gulf breezes. There’s even a doggie beach on the causeway for this pet friendly home. Plenty of space in your own backyard offers another spot for relaxing under the huge shade tree, while watching your pet have the run of the land. Save time to fish from the community dock at the end of the street right on Estero Bay! Fire up the grill and enjoy your catch. Wireless internet is also provided for those who may need to stay in touch while on vacation.
Take some time to explore the island. We have a trolley service that runs all day and into the evening for 50 cents per person. It runs south to Lovers Key State Park where you can swim, shell and explore. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to catch sight of dolphins frolicking.
On your return trip north, you may want to stop off at Santini Mall and visit the unique shops and restaurants. Close by is Fort Myers golf course, if a round of golf is on your agenda.
There is plenty to do in the evening after a day of sunning. At our Beach Theatre you can order a meal, relax in comfy swivel chairs and watch a movie. Take that trolley just about two miles north to Times Square for more shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Enjoy a day or night out on the Big M Casino boat or take a ferry to Key West. Further out, visit the Ford and Edison Museums, the Imaginarium, Calusa Nature Center, the Naples Zoo or take an airboat or swamp buggy ride through the Everglades.
Do you need a crib, playpen or high chair for the little one? Kayaks to explore Estero Bay? Golf clubs so you don’t have to transport yours? Fishing poles to use on the community dock mentioned earlier? We offer rentals for lots of things that you may need and don’t want to bring along.
Fort Myers Beach is located on tropical Estero Island, a seven-mile island in the Gulf of Mexico just a short drive from International Airport. The Hibiscus House is just across the street from miles of white, sandy beaches and sports its own community fishing pier just down the street on the Back Bay. By being in the mid-island, more secluded section of the island, access is easy to shopping, grocery stores, golf course, parks, pubs and restaurants -- either by walking, biking or taking the trolley. On one end of the island is the bustling Times Square which has a county park, fishing pier, shopping, restaurants and bars with nightly entertainment. On the other end are Santini Plaza Shopping Center, Publix, a Golf Course open to the public, Lover's Key State Park and lots more restaurants and bars. Nature lovers can enjoy hiking thru the Matanzas Pass Preserve just about a mile from the house. Town pool near Preserve. The Key West boat leaves the Beach every day for a great day-trip!
