Come home to a charming Victorian-style Townhome in the heart of West Ketchum. This home is light, bright, and lives large without being overwhelming. It is cozy for a couple but spacious enough for a family to enjoy.
The reverse floor plan means plenty of sun in the upstairs living areas with cool (in the summer), and cozy bedrooms downstairs. The main floor includes a remodeled kitchen with Subzero range, Fisher Paykel dishwashers, and white marble countertops. It is fully equipped for all your gourmet cooking needs. There is also a living room with a gas fireplace, small office area, half bath, and dining room with a second gas fireplace and built-in china cabinet.
The third floor loft is a full bedroom with closet, dresser, queen-size bed, and a fold-out futon for extra kids or guests. This is accessed by a steep stair/ladder from the main floor so may not be suitable for very small children.
On the lower floor you will find a charming bedroom with dresser, closet, TV/DVD, and double bed. The bathroom with separate shower also houses the laundry area behind double folding doors.
The master suite has a queen bed, en suite full bath, and large walk-in closet. Also on the lower floor is a small indoor/outdoor hot tub to relax after a great day of skiing or hiking.
The fenced backyard includes a patio area with table and chairs plus a fire pit and is accessed from the lower level. The garage can accommodate most SUV’s and has plenty of storage for skis, bikes and other gear. For summer BBQ’s there is second patio with natural gas BBQ at the front of the house.

We love the West Ketchum lifestyle. It has the charm of a 'real' neighborhood yet walking distance or a 5 minute drive to town, the lifts, hiking trails and shopping. Walk in to town for dinner or a bottle of wine and the Wine Company and no worries about driving home. Jump on the multi-use path in the summer to bike, walk, or run. In the winter, you can walk or nordic ski on the same path, which takes you right to the ski lifts at River Run as well.
Walking in West Ketchum in the evening is like strolling through a camp ground, only better. You don't have to sleep in a tent! The stars are twinkling and the smell of wood fires year round add to the serenity of these lovely neighborhood streets.
We stayed for 8 days and loved every minute it. The house is beautifully maintained, well equipped (great kitchen too!), comfortable and very quiet. And no need to drive your car once you arrive. It's an easy walk to restaurants and shops in town, and just a block or two from the Big Wood River. Great hiking trails (with an abundance of wildflowers in June!) can be accessed close by the house or a short drive outside of town. Soaking in the hot tub and crawling into the comfy bed topped off a beautiful day in Ketchum.
This is a charming home in a very nice, quiet area. The kitchen, living room, dining room, etc. are upstairs and the view of the mountains from this area is lovely. There are many windows so the upstairs is very light and airy. Architectural features, include high ceilings, 2 fireplaces, a beautiful step up dining room, an office alcove, etc. The kitchen has great appliances and is well-equipped for cooking a great meal. The pictures don't do it justice. Beds are very comfortable, towels and linens are plentiful, and the brand new washer/dryer are great. It's a short walk to the bike path and to town, so a very nice location. The owner was very easy to work with inspite of the fact that this was a last minute rental. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to stay there again.
Property was exceptionally clean, great proximity to town centre , owner was good to deal with and easy to get a hold of. Our family had a wonderful time in Ketchum and would definitely recommend this property.
Our family of 5 stayed in this cozy West Ketchum house for 2 weeks at Christmas and we just loved it. We walked to town and the grocery store, jogged on the biking path and quickly drove to both Dollar and Baldy for ski schools. The house is lovingly maintained, comfortable and relaxing and the kitchen was the best rental house kitchen in which I have ever had the pleasure to cook. Two of our little girls stayed in the loft and the third curled up in the second bedroom in a beautiful brass bed. The house is not big but it is beautifully appointed and maintained. The owner was helpful and a pleasure to work with.
I have spent a week each summer for the last couple of years in this wonderful home. Very clean and well maintained, a very comfortable and cozy environment with all the amenities. I like that it is walking distance from the charming town of Ketchum with great restaurants and shops as well as a paved trail for biking, running or just a lazy walk on a sunny day. Endless trails for hiking or biking and for those that like to golf, there is plenty of that as well.
I would highly recommend this property!
