Over six generations of my family have enjoyed spending our summers, weekends, and winter holidays in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. My great-great-grandfather first built a home at a competing Quaker resort for his family and guests to enjoy in the early 1900s. It was my parents’ decision to make the move to Buck Hill Falls, first as renters and later as cottage owners, because the summer youth programs at Buck Hill were outstanding and the recreation facilities were top-notch, as they remain today.
I purchased my Buck Hill Falls golf-cottage as a year-round residence almost 5 years ago but opportunity knocked when a farmhouse down the road became available for purchase. (Renovating buildings is one of my passions!) I moved to my new home two year's ago and am delighted to be able share with others’ the opportunity to enjoy Buck Hill Falls and all that the community has to offer. Who knows, maybe you’ll fall in love and start a new tradition for yourself and family as frequent returning visitors to this hidden-gem?
There are numerous dining establishments within 3 miles from my home. From fine dining to casual chic. Throughout the year many offer weekend entertainment and all are happy to package up an order for take-out!
