It is close to many local shops and restaurants
'' STEP AWAY FROM THE BEACH '' is a tastefully decorated 2 bedroom condo both with queen size beds , both with 2 full bathrooms.. The large , bright living area / kitchen has a direct view onto the beach . There are 3 entrances into the living room / kitchen area ; from the lanai , the patio and the main entrance. This is gives this unique condo a very open , relaxed '' beachy '' feeling.
Sanibel is a narrow island with the gulf on one side and the bay on the other side , it is joined to the mainland by a 3 mile bridge.. Sanibel is a unique destination and forbids the big names like McDonald's, Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut and other multiples. Most of the shops and restaurants are owner run, giving a very low key, easygoing, personal and friendly atmosphere to the island. There are 3 golf courses the island , The Dunes ,Beachview ,and The Sanctuary.
There are cycle lanes absolutely everywhere. Crime does not exist. A great place for kids . Over half the island is a nature reserve and you can drive, cycle or canoe through most of it. The famous Florida Everglades are just an hour away.
If you're looking for a place to chill out , relax and have a great time ? You've found it .

We can't say enough good things about this property and Sanibel. It was our first trip to Sanibel and we already can't wait to home back.
We just LOVED this unit. The Loggerhead property is in a great location. Just minutes gown the road from the causeway so you can get there without driving through traffic on Periwinkle.
The location of the unit is ideal. Ground floor so no carrying your luggage up and downstairs. Your assigned parking space is right in front of your door. The unit is directly on the beach with spectacular views and is on the end so no one is walking past your windows. You can also walk out your back door to the beach.
The unit is beautifully decorated. It has newer kitchen appliances and a large washer/dryer got bravo towels.
The master suite bed is SO comfortable!! My husband and I imagined ourselves living there.
If there were on small minor flaw it would be that the TVs are older smaller models.
Not I big deal for me, but my teenage sons were a little disappointed. The living room unit was still able to accommodate their xbox.
We would love to come back.
Nicely decorated unit with views and very easy access to beach as well as parking. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware we needed for cooking full meals and everything worked and was well-maintained. Internet access was with an ethernet cable. The egrets fish in the little creek right outside the sliding-glass doors. Highly recommended.
This is exactly how it reads...a perfect private corner condo steps away from the beach. I wish I would have booked it for a 2nd week. RW
