What a wonderful introduction to Oxford and Ole Miss

What a wonderful location. While the hike up the hill from this location to the Square was a bit of a surprise, switching from one side to the other side for the sidewalk, the word "Adjacent" is very true. My wife and I cannot say enough about this place. My Ole Miss friends want to rent it for their annual pilgrimages back to Oxford. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will understand why.
While we came for the Texas vs Ole Miss game we ended up thinking we should return to let our daughter do a college visit so we can again enjoy this wonderful condo and the beauty of Oxford at a slightly slower pace.
While it was quite a celebration, the town, townfolk, Ole Miss students, Alumni, etc., did nothing but make this Orange wearing Longhorn feel welcome. What a great experience. While the town was jammed pack from Thursday forward, the closeness of the Square and Campus made it so we could easily walk to any and all attractions from the Square to the Campus.
Amazingly one of our favorite pastimes was sitting on the wonderful front porch watching the Ole Miss and Texas fans walk up and down the street while listening to either football games or stereo over the central stereo system. This continued all 3 nights we stayed, and was an amazing source of entertainment. My guess would be most Football weekends are similar in nature.
I want to thank the owner again for allowing us to stay in their wonderful home and to the city of Oxford for a great time. The fact Texas won might have contributed a bit to the enjoyment of the weekend.
