This downtown luxury condominium overlooking Thames Street and the Wellington Resort is at the doorstep of vibrant downtown shopping, restaurants, and minutes from the beaches. Terrific value compared to a hotel or B&B and great for wedding guests or boat owners looking to rest those sea legs. The loft is fully accessorized with linens, soaps and shampoos so do no not bring a thing except your clothes. A water view of the Newport Harbor and Fort Adams makes for an enjoyable late afternoon on the mahogany deck as the late afternoon sun drenches you with warmth. You will feel at home with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen adorned with rich cabinetry, GE stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, fireplace, and hand scrapped teak hardwood floors throughout the entire living area. Too really make life easy, there is also a full washer and dryer available. Both luxury bathrooms have tile floors and tile showers, and drenching rain showers luxuriously adorned private spa like bathrooms. Also, the all baths have plush towels and the master bath has a dedicated make up area. A special feature at 543 Thames is that every bedroom has a flat screen TV along with a 37' plasma in the living room along with full surround sound music system.

Great Restaurants and Shops: Downtown Newport has some of the greatest shops around. In the mood for some ice cream? Be sure to visit Ben & Jerry's a block away. Take home some Newport memories at The Newport T-Shirt Shop, Chez Shell, or the Groovy Gator in Brick Market Place. Right across the street is Cafe' Zelda where you can try your luck at getting the ring onto the hook and next door is Scales and Shells; try the Lobster Fra Diavlo. No menu's just walk up to the Black Board.
We have lived on Aquidneck Island for the past 25 years and enjoy the quality of life with our three boys. In addition to being busy with sports, we enjoy renovating and improving unique properties with special locations in downtown Newport. This is our third residence and we hope you enjoy it.

As a way to contribute to our downtown neighborhood, we purchased this worn out office building in December 2012 and did a gut renovation to create a comfortable luxurious condominium loft in the heart of Newport's Yachting Village. We thoroughly enjoy our condo as a weekend get away and wish to share the vibrancy of Newport with visiting guests who appreciate a well appointed residence and comfortable environment with all the amenities at your door step.
Location, location, location and parking. This loft has it all and a water view from the deck over looking Narragansett Bay and Fort Adams. Enjoy the luxury details of an Italian marble master bath and a private bathroom attached to each bedroom; no sharing. That design element was courtesy of my wife. We hope you enjoy these benefits and your stay in Newport.
This is the ideal location for a Newport getaway! The condo is a modern piece of luxury and is great for multiple couples or a family. Situated right on Thames it is within walking distance if great restuarants and shops. In addition, the 2 parking spots are ideal for those who have a vehicle. The lofts team was responsive to our requests and always available to answer questions! We look forward to renting this property again soon!
This is a wonderful place if you are planning to spend time by the Newport waterfront and visit the mansions. It is close enough to all the tourist things that you can park your car for the duration of your stay and walk just about everywhere. But, it's far enough away from the racket of the high traffic areas that you are not bothered with that inconvenience.
The property is very clean and very nicely done; high quality building products and other nice touches give it an excellent appearance. It's one of the nicest VRBO/Home Away properties we've ever stayed in. The pictures on the website accurately portray what it looks like in real life. This unit is located on the second floor so there is some stair climbing but nothing strenuous at all.
The people that we dealt with in securing the rental were very responsive and helpful. The contracting process was efficient and relatively simple.
We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to any friends and family who were planning to visit Newport.
The perfect condo in the perfect location for six 20-something best friends to spend a weekend! We were tempted to stay in just as much as we went out, thanks to a great kitchen, spacious layout, and sunny deck. Every amenity was great! We felt right at home, with a twist of luxury.
Beautiful condo right in walking distance of everything. Dealt with Katie and she spoke the truth. This place was AWESOME. Brought my girlfriend for her 40th and we absolutely loved this place. 5 stars
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful condo this week! In all my years of travel, I would be hard pressed to find such a beautiful condo in such a perfect location. The photos clearly depict the elegant décor and easy flow of this property. Much time has been spent on refining the details of this condo. Everything from linens, beach chairs, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent to a fabulous array of K-Cups for that morning coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the water! You just have to pack your bag (pack light because there is a washer and dryer right in the condo) and head down. Katie Ellis, our rental specialist was wonderful to work with! She is professional and knowledge about the area and is a phone call away if any problems should arise during your stay. We are really looking forward to going back to THE NEWPORT LOFTS!
