This first and second floor home apartment offers a private pool, dock, canoeing, fishing, a private deck and is just a short walk to the beach or the back bay. The property offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, office area, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and there is a washer and dryer in the lower level. It is only a short walk to the beach and bay and offers a quiet getaway for couples, small group or a single family. The property offers cable television in all bedrooms and the living room. Outside you will find a private pool and 80 foot dock where you can fish or take the canoe for a quiet trip through the back bay. A barbecue is provided as well as wireless Internet and for the boater there is a private ramp to launch from. Special discount rates are available for renters golfing at Hells Point golf course just a short drive from the beach. discounts have also been arranged for beach buggy rentals during your stay depending on availability. About the apartment: The apartment is located on a quiet street close to the back bay and sets on a canal. The property is a first and second floor apartment with about 3000 square feet of living space with complete seclusion from the remainder of the house and is completely self sufficient. The house is occupied by the two adult residences living on the 3rd floor of the residence and have 1 small dog.You will enjoy a private deck overlooking the swimming pool and canal and have private stairs leading to the yard, pool and dock. There is plenty of off street parking. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you will need to prepare everything from snacks to full meals and there is a full refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster and other small appliances as well as dishes, silverware and pots and pans. The property has a canoe paddle boat and hydrobike which are available along with all the safety equipment for their safe operation.
About the area: The apartment is located about .3 of a mile from the beach and access is on paved roads leading to the beach. The back bay is also only a short walk away. The back bay is accessible by water using the canal on which the house is located or a short walk across the street. The property is equipped with a beach cart for taking items to the beach as well as a beach umbrella. In addition there are 3 bicycles for riding and provide a wonderful way to tour the wildlife refuge at the south end of the beach. If your lucky you may catch site of the Sandbridge pony's that run wild in the area as well the the wide assortment of water birds and other animals native to the area. The beach is beautiful and provides a panoramic view. After a day at the beach come back and relax by the pool while you cook out on the grill. The pool is equipped with fiber optics and is a great way to end the afternoon or evening. You may want to sit on the 80 foot dock and try your luck fishing or feed the ducks.
Boating, fishing and recreation: The owners provide a canoe for boating or you are welcome to bring a boat and launch it from the private boat ramp on the property. Docking is provided at the 80 foot dock and fishing is permitted from the dock as well as surf fishing and use of the pier at the end of the beach, however, there is a charge for using the pier to fish. Golfing at Hells Point is close by and offers an excellent course at discount rates for those renting the property. It is only a short drive to may attractions at Virginia Beach along the boardwalk or in Norfolk. Pamphlets will be provided showing attractions and directions. jet ski rentals are available as well as deep sea fishing and other boating exertions. One of the most popular attractions is the boat tour of the fleet at Norfolk. Whatever you like you will find something for everyone here.
Jean and Mike are the innkeepers and live one the third floor of the property in separate quarters. Mike is a lawyer and Jean is a nurse. Both work during the day but are available by phone if needed. We are available to answer questions and assist you with reservations and inform you about local events. We are friendly and eager to make your vacation one to remember.

Sandbridge is a popular destination and Baydaze offers the perfect combination of privacy and access. You have the quiet of being on the waters near the back bay but the ocean front and all the activity there is just a short walk away.
The property is located on a canal with paddle boat, hydrobike, one and two man kayak, canoe and paddle boards. Bands and dancing at the Baja bar and grill.

May and June rates are $2500.00 including taxes and the rate for the months of July and August are slightly higher at $2800.00 including taxes.
A $250 deposit is required to book a reservation and this will also serve as a damage deposit. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay provided there is no damage and that you do not cancel the reservation less than 30 days before the rental date. The rental fee is due no less than 30 days before the rental date.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
