WATERFRONT! AMAZING VIEW ON SAN DIEGO'S MISSION BEACH

We just stayed for the week in Christie's lovely condo. We were in Mission Beach for my daughter's volleyball camp at South Mission Beach. The location is ideal for quiet bayside relaxing, but still just a minute away from the hustle and bustle of the ocean side walk.

The place was a great home base for all our walking and driving touristy fun around San Diego. We purchased supplies at Ralph's and ate most breakfasts and lunches in the condo. We ventured out at night for dinner to places all over Mission Beach, Coronado, The Gaslamp District, and La Jolla.

We did daily 5-7mi walks from Mission Bay to La Jolla. We walked to the Mission Bay Aquatic Center and rented paddle boards. Paddling around the bay was great fun. I recommend the La Jolla Sea Kayak tour of the 7 caves for anyone that likes water sports!

The condo was far better than staying in a hotel. The girls had their own separate room (and bathroom), which made showering much easier for four starving people walking in off the beach and trying to make it out to dinner in a reasonable time. The condo was well equipped with standard kitchen supplies: dishes, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher & detergent, etc. The towels & beach towels were nice.

I'd have to really nit-pick to find anything to complain about. I thought the one-hour checkin window was a little small, but that turned out to be a non-issue too. We arrived after the standard checkin time, and arranged to get the keys from Mission Sands.

We really enjoyed our weak, and only wished we could have stayed longer!

What a nice 2 months we've had in your clean, modern, updated condo. Our top floor view of the bays
afford us , great sunrises, rowers training ,sail boat races, the nightly paddle wheel boats all lit up
sailing by..yet we are totally private inside.
I love being on the "quiet side" , as our experience staying 2 months on the ocean was much noisier and cooler. We are a short block from the ocean for sunset walks and bike rides.
The location is so easy tto access expressways and bus service is a near by . Restaurants like Saskas , or World Famous are short walks away.The Seaworld flag flys accross the Bay. Belmont Park is jjust up the street. Ralphs grocery store is about a mile away
We''ve enjoyed this condo of 5 units for a very friendly feel. Many units are owner occupied so there
isn't loud partying evey weekend like many units that allow large groups of college students on holiday.
Our 5 year old Grand daughter lives in San Diego and comes to visit. Christie has a great selection of
kids books and games .There are many small parks a bike ride away for kids to enjoy .
Additional over night parking is available 1/2 block away...can't say much more ...this place has it all
plus an elevator for heavy loads up and down.
We definitely will be back for 2 months next winter. Thanks Christie and Chuck for always being
available if we had questions or a problem.

This lovely, clean, well maintained condo has everything to like about it. Overlooking Mission Bay gives one a bird's eye view of water sports like kayaking, sculling, paddle boarding, sailing, or even an occasional fisherman. Handy binoculars bring the water birds front and center and friendly walkers and bikers tempt you to join them on the bayside path. Watch the sun rise from the balcony with a cup of coffee while planning your day or savor the wonderful one you've had with a glass of wine while the moon pops up over the eastern hills. Being close to the action of the ocean and boardwalk with cafes and restaurants in abundance within walking distance lets one leave the car behind in its assigned parking space. World Famous is...well, world famous and Konos for breakfast sets up a busy day quite nicely. Be sure to try a lunch or dinner at a local haunt, the Fishery, on Cass Street. Enjoy this lovely place--we did!
