Groups of all types will enjoy the relaxing comforts of Cedar Tree House. Set on four acres of cedar forest on rushing Squalicum Creek, this contemporary northwest home offers five themed sleeping rooms and wonderful common amenities (lg kitchen, living areas). Enjoy the activities of the country setting, while being only a 10minute drive from wonderful restaurants, entertainment & nightlife.

Beautiful furnishings set off by original photographs & art; tile, granite & marble counters; wood floors adorned with striking rugs; bedding suiting the outdoor themes of each room. Each bedroom has its own sink (in addition to the 3 1/2 baths), and a CD/iPod player, lamps and comfortable Posturepedic mattresses. Basic bath, kitchen, and household supplies and firewood are provided.

There is a large back deck overlooking the Creek with a hot tub for 6-8 people. The spacious yurt has a bamboo, radiant-heated floor and sounds system. Bonfire circle, lawn and grass amphitheater. Ample parking.

The large back deck and lanai overlooking the Creek comfortably seat 24 diners and offer beautiful hand-made cedar benches for sitting and enjoying the natural beauty around you. The large spa hot tub sits at the most private end of this wrap around deck.

Expand your accommodation options by reserving one or both of the luxurious eco-suites of Tree Frog Night Inn next door. The Inn's complete massage and spa services are offered to guests at Cedar Tree House, and are only a one minute trail walk away.

About Owner

My name is Kara, and I am so pleased you are considering staying at Cedar Tree House! I enjoy welcoming people here to this beautiful part of the Country, and my husband Kurt and I live next door where we host Tree Frog Night Inn. I enjoy hiking, yoga, volunteering for various organizations, traveling, consensus decision-making, cross-cultural exchange, cooking, singing, managing projects/events, XC skiing, bicycling, wildlife watching, speaking French, good wine, great movies, and people of all ages.

Why Owner chose Bellingham

Such a beautiful forest and creek. Some of the trees are 100 feet tall. Very centrally located for all the wonderful outdoor activities that beautiful Whatcom County has to offer, yet still so close to town.
