This beautiful home was designed and handcrafted by the owners in 2007. 150 year old timbers combine with the easy elegance of contempory style and work in harmony to create a very special experience. French Doors open onto several decks from which to enjoy the views of this lovely 4.5 acre farm. Sitting on a hill, the farmhouse overlooks extensive gardens and horse pastures. It feels rural and private but it's only 6 minutes from the grocery store, the ferry, beaches, resturants and shopping! The custom Kitchen features soapstone counters, stainless appliances and a professional cooktop and we designed this one as the focal point of the house! Each room is furnished with lots of overstuffed slipcovered pieces so there's plenty of room to sit and talk together or to slip quietly away to read. The beds have exquisite linens and the baths feature marble and tile.The serene palette, unique architecture and peaceful setting are irresistible.
