Having represented my own home since 2008, I now provide vacation rental service for select owners of fine homes. It's a delight to help people enjoy Cape Ann and to offer guests and homeowners the kind of personable, quality care that engenders ease and peace of mind. My first career was as a senior executive in the retail industry.
I love this home's integration with nature, and the comfortable beauty of the open living spaces.
We spent last weekend at this spectacular home in Gloucester and I am happy to provide a review sharing our experience. We had 9 people in our group; made up of two Canadian families that spend every Thanksgiving weekend together. This house was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our holiday. The layout of the house provides many different common areas for people to spread out and it included everything we could have hoped for. After traveling 13 hours to get there, a soak in the fabulous hot tub was a welcome treat. We arrived to a bottle of wine provided by our host and plenty of information about things to do around the area. The grounds of the house were incredible; our kids had a blast playing in the yard and enjoying the hammock as well as the games that were on site (the Wii and the board games). With regards to cost, we had priced out a very reasonable hotel in Boston for the same weekend. It was cheaper for us to rent the house for 3 nights than it was to rent 3 hotel rooms for two nights so fantastic value for your money. And the best part was being able to cook a large family dinner and still honour our traditions.
Thank you to Kathy for all her help in booking this property. We felt pampered and cared for from the moment we inquired about renting the property until we returned home. We will definitely be back. This is an excellent alternative to the hustle and bustle of Boston. Transportation into Boston and back was cheap and incredibly easy so we didn't miss out on anything. Salem this time of year is must as well. Call Kathy. She will take care of you.

A real paradise. The place is comfortable and very clean. Great for gadering of friends or family. The fire pite greates a great ambiance at night. We highly recommend you this place.
This is a unique house with lots of space, comfortable and unique character, set aside in a relaxing patch of woods. Just down the street from beautiful coastline/state park and an amazing lobster shack, short drive from lots of beautiful beaches. We met a few other couples here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. At one point we lost hot water, and Kathy was very responsive, showed up right away to arrange for a handyman to come by that same day and fixed it. Highly recommended and we would certainly return.
Gloucester is the oldest working seaport and art colony in America, and prides herself on not being 'touristy'. This is also one of the top five whale watching areas in the world! There's so much to do here: charter fishing, hiking, biking, shopping, kayaking, birding (one of the top areas in the US), sunset schooner cruises, theaters, museums, live music, beautiful beaches, tours, world-class dining. Boston is only 50 minutes away by train or car.
Other Activities: kayaking, deep sea fishing, whale watching, museums, art colonies.
