Set in a quiet residential area amidst golf courses, lakes, waterways and superb tropical scenery, our 2 acre lot is private, yet not secluded.
Our home is situated on a small body of water itself. You can relax by the pool with therapeutic jets; have a cold one while sitting at the built-in table in the pool; or fish in the backyard.
The magnificent beaches of Manasota Key or Boca Grande are within 15 minutes. The Intercoastal and Myaka River are even closer. You have access to miles of public beaches which are known for their blue clear waters, shells, sand dollars, and sharks teeth. Close by you may rent boats, canoes, wave runners, bikes or motor scooters.
My pool and lanai area is one of my favorite places. When I designed the pool area, I knew this would be the place where I would be spending most of my time. The pool comes with a water fall and the constant flow of water is soothing.
The screened private pool and a secluded sun-terrace complete with sun loungers, allows enjoyment of the sun for most of the day and especially in the afternoon and winter months. Pool heating can be arranged to provide year round enjoyment of the water. There are pool toys available for children, and a pool barrier for the safety of those little non-swimmers who visit, which allows parents to relax. Our screened lanai is ideal for dining. It is equipped with a large table and chairs. We also have a gas barbecue for your convenience.
It is our main goal to provide a home which is fresh and relaxing. We have personally furnished and decorated this unit and have paid close attention to details. We have furnished this 3 bedroom home with 2 queen beds and an expandable sofa in the office area. Master bedroom has walk in closet, while the other 2 have large closet space.
The kitchen, living and dining area has the open area design. The kitchen has all necessary needs to make your stay enjoyable.
The Rotonda adjoins the small town of Englewood that has a wide range of shops and services. Rotonda is a safe, quiet community situated on the Cape Haze peninsula which has been designed around gold courses and a network of canals. For the golfers, this part of Florida is an absolute must. There are four golf courses actually on Rotonda West that are all part of Rotonda West Country Club. An additional 15 courses are within 15-minute drive and offer golf for a range of handicaps and pockets.
There are a great number of restaurants, from casual to formal dining. There are also plenty of supermarkets and shops. For the more serious shopper there is an excellent shopping mall at Port Charlotte, which is only a 15 minute drive. Continue on a little further (ten minutes) to Punta Gorda and you will find Fisherman’s Village.
Our home is close to islands, beaches and restaurants, yet is situated in a quiet, tranquil locality.

I visited friends who owned homes in the Englewood area. I fell in love with this beautiful peaceful beach area. I purchased this home in 2004 and furnished it with the plan of making it my place to get away. Unfortunately, that dream has not yet become reality so I am offering my home to you.

I love the Gulf. This location is close to everything. Airports, beaches, shopping, dining, parks, and most of all, beautiful sunsets.
The Englewood area offers everything a beach town has, except the chaos. This area has not allowed tall condos, boardwalks, etc. You have the beautiful beaches.
We are located on the Gulf Coast of Florida, about 30 miles south of Sarasota. The community is situated on the Cape Haze peninsula just north of Charlotte Harbor and world renowned Tarpon Fishing in the spring of the year out of Boca Grande. We are 90 miles south of Tampa Bay and 60 miles north of Ft. Myers. Orlando is about 2 1/2 hours away.
The community park has free tennis courts, and play grounds. For those who like to cycle, there is a cycle path that threads its way through Rotonda West and over to Rotonda Lakes (via the Pioneer trail - rail to cycle paths).
