'WOW! 'Where else but Queensland'...now I know where they get the saying from :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mornington. The house was so comfortable, everything needed for a great stay was provided, from washing detergent to pool toys for the kids! Tim and Wendy thought of everything! The pool and backyard space was amazing. It was quite a challenge to get the kids out of the pool to do other activities during our stay in Cairns. Kewarra Beach is such a lovely, clean and quiet suburb. Highly recommended to families who are after peace and quiet. Thank you Tim for the delicious Mangoes. You made us feel very welcomed. The only bad thing I can say about our stay...was going home :(''

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday at Mornington, everything was perfect (including the weather). The location is perfect, close to Cairns and no to far from Port Douglas and the Atherton Table lands. We will remember this holiday for the rest of our lives. 'Excellent house comfortable, spacious & well situated The boys loved the pool & spent so much time in it they never even thought about TV. Mornington is well positioned in a quiet residential location only a 5 minute walk to the palm fringed beach of Kewarra. Only 20 minutes north of Cairns airport and 30 minutes south of Port Douglas, 'Mornington' is an excellent base from which to explore the region.
On your doorstep you have the Great Barrier Reef, the Rainforest, Atherton Tablelands, Kuranda, world renowned golf courses and top class restaurants. The tourist haven of Palm Cove is a stroll along the beach or a seven minute drive.
Mornington is a fully air conditioned 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home with 2 separate entertaining areas catering for adults and children of all ages. There is a large salt water pool to cool off in and two undercover outdoor patios with a BBQ area.

We had a fabulous time at Kewarra Beach and Mornington was a lovely house to stay in. Its location was perfect for us and the house itself was beautifully kept and had a very high level of cleanliness through out. The big bonus was that the owners live next door and were great as tour guides and ever ready with helpfull tips. Highly recommended.

Tim and Wendy Prettejohn
Wendy grew up in Sydney and moved to Cairns in 1999. Tim was born in Kenya then farmed in SA for 20 years before moving to Cairns in 1987. Wendy is a jewellery designer and published writer and Tim does all the outside work and gives excellent advise on tours to suit your needs. We both enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making them feel at home in 'Mornington'.
Because it is perfect! When this property was for sale we knew it would be the ideal holiday vacation house because of its size and layout, not to mention the fantastic pool and spacious back garden. We live next door and make sure that everything is in perfect working order and absolutely pristine condition.
We are on hand should there be queries about what tours to take or any advise about the area and trips to the Reef and Rainforest and often receive a discount for our clients.
The house is fully air conditioned and we have just installed large stainless steel ceiling fans in every room.
There are pleasant views from each room and the entrance and front garden ensure privacy from the quiet street.
There is a double lock up garage - but mostly part of it is used for a second undercover seating and bbq area.
It's lovely to get up in the morning and sit at the undercover outdoor table for breakfast whilst gazing into the blue depths of the pool and out at the lush green surrounds of the garden.
