Our apartment is a part of a premier resort apartment community gracing the dynamic new downtown Los Angeles skyline. Just minutes walking to the LA Convention Center and LA Live- We have inspected all of the 10 apartment layouts and chosen the best layouts for our guest. This location is truly the best choice for upscale visits in Los Angeles.

This two bedroom, two bathroom, luxury apartment is being decorated to suit everyone from business traveler's to vacationers. The living area is decorated with a lovely fold out sofa (full to queen sized) which sleeps up to two people. There is a 46 inch flat screen, equipped with Direct TV / Basic Cable, and wireless Internet. And the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for yourself- or your travel companions.

Stay City Rental's never skimps on bedding. We provide high quality, medium-firm, mattresses for all of our guest. Everyone loves sleeping on our beds and we get lots of compliments on our mattress selection.

The Master-Bedroom in this unit has 2 full-sized beds and the spare room has 1 queen sized bed.

The bathrooms of this unit are very large and have a shower/bath with sliding glass doors. There is a large vanity and separate toilet area in each of the rentals making them easy to navigate around for things in the bathroom area.

Best of all this unit has a wonderful balcony where you may sit outside and enjoy your day reading a book, sharing a meal, or having a coffee.

The luxury doesn't stop at our apartment though- this is a luxury community where you may enjoy a day tanning, getting a massage, running around the quarter mile track, visiting either of the two on-site gyms, swimming in the Olympic-sized pool, laying out on the roof, or even just relaxing in the on-site library.

Close to Convention Center

I stayed here for a convention that I had to attend. I would love to come back to use the pool as the weather wasn't just right when I stayed. Ronnie was very nice to me when he checked me in. I was running a little late because I actually attended part of the convention right off the plane. He waited for me for about an extra 45 minutes, which was appreciated.

The gym in the building is sufficient for traveling but since I was staying longer I used the Golds Gym down the street more. It was a nice location near the convention center and I'll probably stay here again if they have the convention in LA again.

One of the draw backs of the apartment is that you have to use a key for every door you go through. I like secured buildings but this building is super secure. Make sure if you stay here that you take your keys with you every where you go so you don't lock yourself out. I did that once but security was nice enough to let me back in.

Very Disappointing

First, be aware this unit is right next to the 110 freeway so be prepared for constant loud freeway noise. The balcony is useless as the freeway noise is so loud you can't conduct a conversation. The kitchen is anything but "well stocked" - not even a can opener or a corkscrew, no extra garbage bags or paper towels. Bedding was uncomfortable and scratchy; there is no decent lighting anywhere in the unit (business travelers beware); there were a total of two towels. This is bare-bones and well below snuff compared to the many other VRBO rentals we've enjoyed over the years. It's corporate owned, so everything is on the cheap side. Also, be prepared to sign an over-the-top 12page rental agreement (really, for a few nights?) It is a convenient location right downtown and the people we dealt with on the phone and email were friendly, but I really feel that they misrepresented the rental.

We do appreciate your feedback although we do find it unfair and malicious. During your stay you could have reached out to us about any of your concerns as we have a staff member available from 9 am to 5 pm PST- as stated in your arrival notes. You were provided two phone numbers to call.

Our unit is accurately depicted on the map we do advertise intending to be as transparent as possible. Our rental is located by the 10 Free-Way in a beautiful luxury apartment in the Los Angeles area. We have had many convention goer's stay here and love it.

We do not claim to be a 4 or 5 star hotel by any means. We are very upfront with all of our guest about our rentals location and what we offer. Our photos are up-to-date and they look exactly like the images depicted. You did book this rental based on photos and you did receive exactly what you were expecting.

In regards to extra amenities. We do offer starter supplies- shampoo, body wash, body lotion, face an hand-soap. Each bathroom is stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper and you are offered a trash can with a liner in each room. This is much more than most companies or individuals offer in their vacation homes. I do hope you understand, unlike a hotel with maid-service, you did book a vacation home in which you are to provide many of the extra desired needs for your self.

Our kitchens are stocked with all basic appliances and we are upfront with this to all guest. We do provide all basic utensils for cooking and eating. All of which are brand new. And we do keep them clean and updated frequently.

Our furniture is not cheap and we do inspect every rental in between reservations to ensure our guest never have anything that isn't of use to them- or that looks nice.

Unfortunately, in a city of 20 million people you are less likely not to experience noise in any area. We have lovely vacation homes across LA, all in desired locations, and all of them have some sort of city noise. When you are in doors at this location all of the windows have double pain glass which are designed to block out the sounds when you are inside. The balconies are large and beautiful and stating that they are useless is actually an dramatic over-statement. Many of our guest love sitting out on our balconies.

We are two guys on 21 who have stayed at Stay City Rental in Los Angeles down town two times. The service was both times extremely high, if we had any questions they were always there to help us right away. The apartment is nicely decorated and the location is perfect. We therefore both give our biggest recommendations to rent through Stay City Rental.
