What makes our totally remodeled mountain home so special?

• Elevator & hot tubs – you’ll be happy for them at day’s end

Last year we put in $15,000 in remodeling including a new 50 inch 'smart' LED TV, a 32 inch LCD with 'smart' blu-ray for the bedroom, Old Hickory log cabin dining chairs, closet remodel, replaced door trim, a new hot water heater, and more. This year new living room furniture and full size washer/dryer.

Our spacious, updated condo is in a great location for both skiing and nightlife. The layout is great for two families: two private suites, each with full bath & two queen-sized handcrafted Western pine log beds. This is our second home and we’ve outfitted it like a home – not a motel.

Our slope-side location on the Four O’Clock Ski Run makes getting on and off the slopes a delight. After you’ve enjoyed your runs, you’ll be back at home soaking in one of our great hot tubs while other skiers are still walking back to their condos. Our ski access is by free shuttle at the front door to all lifts and even other resort towns. Or head for the gondola (2 blocks) or Snowflake Lift (1200 feet). For fun in the evening, you will be only a two minute walk from the heart of downtown.

The condo is totally remodeled with new kitchen, fireplace, and bathrooms. It features comfy furniture, LCD cable TV, DVD player, and free high speed internet. The kitchen is very well-equipped if you want to eat in, but there are restaurants and bars in all price ranges within two blocks. Two outdoor gas grills are convenient for your use, and two supermarkets are a few blocks away. A washer and dryer are in the unit. The floor-to-ceiling, south-facing windows provide warmth and a view of Mount Baldy from the private balcony. The gas fireplace feels wonderful after a day of skiing.

Your car will be protected in covered parking within the building and the elevator will be a big help in getting your belongings to the unit. A ski closet immediately by the front door protects your ski equipment. Enjoy our snow sleds, books, games and movies.

The fun Western décor will provide plenty of conversation. Along with Western posters, old cowboy photos and antique photos of Breckenridge, you’ll find authentic Indian handicrafts, Cowboy chaps, hats and spurs, and a real deer-skin Indian shirt. Check out the Clint Eastwood movie poster in Portuguese.

Our building (at the corner of Ski Hill Rd and S Park Ave) recently completed a multimillion dollar exterior remodel. Free buses stop immediately in front to take you to all parts of the Breck ski resort, throughout Breck, and to three other ski resorts: Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin. Vail is an easy drive.

International visitors love our place -- 2015 will see guests from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and England.

Colorado is our summer home and we love it here. After growing up in Colorado, we were finally able to return after living in the East for many years.

This was my first time using VRBO and what a great experience. Steve and Anne were very responsive, informative and personable. They even sent a "things to know" with directions, favorite restaurants and ski rentals...we used just about all of it. Their condo was fantastic and incredibly convenient to the slopes...practically skied into the elevator and the shuttle to the gondola took 5 mins or less. The condo is nicely decorated and easy to lounge and nap in. My favorite part was the nicely the kitchen was equipped making it really easy and fun to do home cooking. I recommend this to anyone headed for Breckenridge.

Great Ski Weekend

My buddies and I spent three days at this condo which is in a perfect location of town. We had access to lots of great restaurants and bars as well as other amenities. We didn't even need a car the entire weekend. The condo itself was very well kept and had great decorations throughout. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great deal in Breckenridge. Thanks for letting us stay, Steve!

Fabulous place in great location

We spent five wonderful days here -- snow was great, the condo location was perfect, met new friends in the hot tub. Steve and Anne kept us informed and had many suggestions for restaurants and bargains. We enjoyed the decorations even more than our son: the Western chaps, Indian shirt, and Buffalo Bill were highlights. And skiing down the Four O'Clock Run rigth down to the condo at the end of the day when we were tired was perfect. We highly recommend.

Perfect location with fun decorations

My friends and I stayed at Steve and Anne's condo for three nights and absolutely loved it! Their place could not be at a more convenient location! The walk to the gondola took about 10 minutes in the morning and when we were done and wanted to head back, we hopped on the 4 o'clock run which ends at their doorstep. The place was decorated very nicely and is one block off of main street in downtown Breck. I am looking forward to staying here next year if Steve and Anne are so kind as to continue renting their place!

Beautiful condo at super location! listing: 372598

We, 2 couples, stayed in this condo for a fortnight. We loved every minute of it. Plenty of space, cozy livingroom and bedrooms, wonderful decorations, full kitchen (we cooked most nights),elevator. Skied right down to the appartment via the 4 o'Clock Run, took the bus to the Snowflake Lift for a sweet and quiet liftride up the mountain in the morning..
So we are stacking this place in our "favourites" map and hope to return here again.
If there's anything negative to say, it is that noise from the appartment upstairs is quite bad. If there's anybody staying there at the same time!

Owner comment of 5/11: I have since pursued the noise problem, Yolanda. I contacted the management company for that unit and have made arrangements to be sure it will not occur again. Also, I am a member of the Board for Sawmill Creek and we are instituting a regulation forbidding "loud, disturbing and objectionable noises." And, lastly, Breckenridge law requires quiet time beginning at 10:00 pm. The police department tells me they will respond quickly and firmly to complaints of violation.

Home away from home

We were absolutely delighted with our accommodation as it felt very much like a home away from home. The bedrooms were large and showers fabulously hot after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was equipped well. The convenience of a ski shop across the road, the free shuttle out the front door, main street just one street away and the 4o'clock run home to the front door made this a perfect ski in and ski out location. Stephen was terrific in communication. I could not recommend the accommodation more highly. We will definitely be back!
